I had the most awful dream last night about our upcoming WDW holiday. Well it was funny really looking back!
First, we went to a character breakfast - DH and I and the kids - my mother was there too (even though she's not coming with us). We met Goofy and Donald Duck briefly. I was the chief planner for the trip and had booked the breakfast. So that ended and we came outside and my mother said "so I'm starving, can we get some breakfast now?" and I said "what?", so she said "can we eat now, the character meeting was nice but the kids are really hungry", and then aghast I realised we had met the characters but had completely forgotten to eat!

So my mother said "but we didn't know, you booked it, we assumed it was just a character meeting" and I was saying "oh my God, noooo, it cost a fortune, we must eat".
So I ran back inside, asked a CM "where's the food, where's the food, I need to know where the food is" and she pointed down the back and there was a buffet set up and I grabbed a plate and started loading it up with whatever I could get my hands on, mostly scrambled eggs piled high.

A man came over and said "you can't just walk in here and take food you know!" and I said "no no, we paid, but we left and forgot to eat". So I got another plate and filled it with cakes and everything I could get my hands on. DH, the kids and my mother were mortified and I was shouting "we must eat, we must eat, quick".
Later in the dream, or in another one, not sure, we had just arrived and got Magical Express to 'Downtown Disney' (for some strange reason) and it was horrible. Now considering I was in WDW and DTD last year and know what it looks like, that was a strange dream! But it was very 'real', typical 'big city' vibe with pollution and noise and broken down cars and dirty streets. It was pouring rain too, the depressing kind, and so cold. I was alone. It was just horrible, strip joints, the works.

So I somehow got talking to this guy who said he could get me a cheap room and I said "no, we're booked into The Boardwalk, where are the busses to the Boardwalk?" and he said "huh? Disney stopped doing those busses years ago. Anyway the Boardwalk is a dump, it's a fleabag, you don't wanna go there". I was running around looking for taxis or busses or anything to get me out of there.
I woke up very depressed!!!
