What DON'T you like about FP+?

I really like fp+.
The only thing that kills me about it is how hard the website is to use.
I absolutely hate the website, and have been in near tears trying to good with it for the last 6 months.

I don't like the underhanded-ness of Disney as a whole. The fp+ system is great for me, but their motives make my stomach turn.

I can see where some people complain about only getting three, but in the grand scheme of things, it's still better than no Fastpass at all...... So I don't get it, why all the hate?

For a lot of people, it's a significant downgrade from what was previously available. Bringing back tiers makes it even more so.

Based on our past experiences, saying it's better than nothing and everyone should be OK with it doesn't make very much sense to me.

Giving everyone 1 headliner ride reservation in advance isn't going to be looked on as a huge perk no matter how they spin it.

What are the implications of FP+ and park hopping?
For instance...if we're going to EPCOT until about 2pm and then straight to MK, we can only pick 1 tier 1 and 2 tier 2's for the ENTIRE day?
If so...yikes....we are park hoppin' maniacs usually.

I like FP+ but the web interface needs work. It's overly complicated to choose specific times or change the ones you have.

Yes..as of now limited to 3 at one park only.

1. I don't like being limited to 3.
2. I don't like that I can't get more than 1 set for a particular ride.
3. I really really really don't like the tiers. I mean, seriously, Test Track and Soarin are the only 2 rides in EP that even need a FP and you can only get 1???

4. I also think 60 days out is ridiculous

This is exactly why I don't like it either!

I would add:
5. I don't like being limited to FP+ in only one park per day.

I also think 60 days out is ridiculous (particularly with preschoolers that we can't predict...) but if the above issues weren't there, I could deal.

But if they didn't do this then you wouldn't be inclined to purchase more FP+ reservations when Disney starts selling them a la carte.

Limits of three and tiered rides gives people a reason to purchase extras for an additional fee. It really makes sense when you think about it... They haven't announced it yet, but the monetizing of FP+ is a great way to recoup some of the one billion that Disney is spending on the MyMagic+ system.

I believe that they will eliminate the all you can eat buffet that was FP- and replace it with the a la carte system that is FP+. Advance reservations are there to take the sting out a little bit..

I HATE My Disney Experience -- both the website and the app. It is way too slow, requires an excessive amount of clicks to accomplish anything, has bizarre error messages that require cancelling and going back through endless screens, and it throws up ghost reservations and/or disappears people, tickets, etc.

As for FP+, the idea is fine but I don't like the tiers and I don't like the restriction to one park -- I always park hop. Three almost works for EP, AK and DHS but I've always used more than 3 in the Magic Kingdom.

I'd be fine if they started with 2 FP+ in EP, AK and DHS and 3 in MK. Then when you use those, be able to add FP+ in the same or a different park. Or give out three and let me use them in as many parks as I want.

But MDE is a total nightmare! I doubt they're going to fix the endless number of screens to do one simple thing. I do hope they get rid of all the glitches. Maybe they think MDE will be so horrible no one will want to make FP+. That'd solve the tiering and 3 per park per day limitation.

1. I don't like the limit of 3.

2. I don't like that they all have to be in one park.

3. Don't like having to schedule frickin' ride times up to two months prior to our trip. Having to do ADR's 180 days is bad enough.

4. Don't like tiers.

5. Don't like not being able to use it on the same attraction more than once.

I'm sure there's more.

That you must choose three.

Not that I want more than 3, but sometimes I want LESS than 3. I set one day up so I could go to MK and ride the Haunted Mansion. That is the only thing I wanted to ride, but I had to pick two other FP+ anyway - and then not use them.

All of the above! If they would just it everybody on the same system, booking either from MDE or a kiosk in the park that would work in somewhat of the same manner as the current fast pass where you could get same day fast pass and maybe allow everyone to have access to book 2 in advance...no restrictions, any ride, Parade, Wishes, Fantasmic(with some type of reserved seating maybe), any park so you could use one at one park and one at another...I think that might be worthwhile for all. Guest satisfaction for those that like aspects of both systems...the ones who love it for giving them a guarantee of two that they don't have to rush to the park to get, either because they like to sleep in or go at the busiest of times...and the ones who love to get more than one ride on their favorites or have the greater flexibility that the older system provided.

Of course this probably doesn't benefit Disney, but I can wish, right? ;)

My biggest gripe isn't with FP+, I'm working around that. My biggest gripe is that Disney is springing changes on us daily without warning and think that it's just business as usual.

From what I have seen, and this is speaking for my familythe biggest issue is not being able to use multiple fastpasses for the same ride. Me and my son at DHS would use one for Toy Story and then use and use and use them for Star Tours. This system not great for us.

The same holds true at the other parks as well I just really don't like the idea of being forced into stand by lines. The limit of three at a time plays into that as well.

The planning and stuff is really not a major issue, don't like it, but not the end of the world.

My biggest beef is....was the older system really that bad that a "billion" dollars could not be spent on more rides, more shows, new lands or even a new gate. The older system worked fine.

Only part of our party had FP+ at all, since my boys' tickets would not show up on MDE. On top of that, their personalized MB would not work and we had to get plain gray ones at check in. It was a real mess and we spent a lot of park time at the front desk, FP+ kiosks and at FP- machines each day trying to get things worked out so that we could ride together without waiting in 60 minute lines.

Plus, MDE NEVER worked for me in the park to reschedule FP+. We were late several times due to spending a ton of time at the front desk and I was never able to use the app to reschedule so we just missed a lot of our FP+. Then you have to hunt down FP+ kiosks which had two machines and BOTH were usually taken up by CMs taking FOREVER to help guests get their FP+ settled. The time that we successfully got my boys hooked up to our two remaining FP+ for the day, they had me at one kiosk and my mom on another kiosk so they could see both of our FP+ at the same time and the poor lady behind me had a rowdy toddler and was very upset at the large amount of time they were taking to get us set up. I felt bad for her but there was nothing I could do.

Right now it is a bad system and they need to work out all the hiccups before they start taking away KTTW cards. We were at POP till Nov 12th and had a lot of problems with our MBs (one day my MB could open the door, the next day it couldn't and then the next day it worked again. Same with another MB in our party and a lady next to me at the front desk had the same problem). They are NOT ready for a no KTTW card test!!

I was on board with the concept, although I completely understood why others were not.

Until the tiers.

The tiers are going to be the thing that ruins it for me.

I'll be there in 2 weeks to check them out, and I'm really trying to reserve judgement.

But, since you asked, my main worries about FP+ are that we only get 3 and they can't all be for the same ride. At some parks, that's not so bad (the number of "attractions" for each park is nowhere near even), but at Epcot? There really aren't that many "first tier" choices, and I'd really like to make mine all for Soarin'.

I do not like the roll-out or testing of this FP+. I feel it gives some people the ultimate advantage while others are left holding rotten eggs. I think, Disney blew it as far as the roll-out process or they don't care. We are staying onsite for Thanksgiving week. We cannot link our tickets to MDE because they are too old. It is not that we haven't been going to Disney, it is just that we bought annual passes for the trips afterwards and haven't had a chance to use these old tickets up. Anyways, I'm not happy that I will be shut out of FP- within an hour of the park opening (I know some days this won't happen). But everything I read it made it seem like they have lots availability on the FP+. I'm disappointed that their development team did not think out all the scenarios that could possibly happen. Don't take my complaint as a negative Nellie. I love Disney. I've been to WDW countless times as well as Disneyland. I've been to Aulani. I've been on 6 cruises including 2 European cruises. I'm very loyal to Disney but I'm disappointed on this roll-out.

I don't like the hassle, the tiers, the limits and the fact that we are staying offsite next month and are therefore left out.

I don't like the fact that you can't cancel only one FP+ reservation on the day of use. You either have to cancel them all or change the attraction that you don't want to a different attraction and then try to change the time. We were in MK last weekend and had a 9 - 10 am FP+ reservation for Buzz. When we arrived there was only a 5 minute wait, so I didn't want to waste the FP+. I simply wanted to cancel it out and save it in case we wanted to use it for another attraction later. You can't do that, I discovered, as I stood outside of Buzz with 3 CM's trying to help me while the rest of my family rode the ride. The CM's couldn't believe it as well and could navigate the system about as well as I could (and the help kiosks were far from Buzz - I didn't feel like wasting MORE of my trip at a FP+ help kiosk). After about 15 minutes of this, the CM simply handed me a yellow FP slip to ride anything in the park and apologized for the problems.

I don't like that FP+ has taken the spontaneity out of trips. We did Sunrise Safari on one day of our trip and then, out of the blue, around 9:30 am decided to leave AK and go to EP. I hastily tried to get FP+ reservations on my phone at 9:30 and couldn't get Soarin' at all - this was 30 minutes after park opening.

I don't like that you can't get FP+ in different parks in a single day. I felt rushed to get to my FP+ reservations. I've decided that we simply can't go during any crowded times any more. FP+ just isn't any fun.
