What don't you get that everyone else seems to get?

I also dont get why only soCal- gets special offers on Ap tickets and payment options... why not all of CA since they went and made a whole park dedicated to CA... :confused3

That is a good point, my family and friends are DAP or PAP in Northern California and would love to do the payment options in Northern California. We love going to DL since we have AP.

Captain EO. I don't get where it fits in with Disney and I can appreciate Michael Jackson's talent. :confused3

I don't get why so many people love WWS so much. I found the food to be pretty eh.

I don't get why you can't get off the monorail at GCH.

I get but don't like that the princesses don't hang out in front of IASW anymore. Too much money to be made with PFF, but sad for those who just like to see the princesses out and about.

I don't get why there isn't a breakfast place open in DTD before you have to go wait in line to get into the park. Or at least a really good coffee place.

I don't really get autograph books.

Their burgers are horribly salty but their breakfast burrito rocks. They also have, or used to have, chocolate covered strawberries for half the price of what you pay in the park.

I really like the Monte Cristo, but only if I have someone to share it with. It's too much food.

ITA! I can do one wedge. I believe it comes with four.... WOW, that's a whole lotta sandwhich.

I'm another person that does not enjoy the Dole whip.

I think the Monte Cristo just looks like a whole lotta bad-for-you. I haven't tried one  but don't like ham or donuts. It has to contain the fat calories for at least 2 days. :scared:

I I loved space mountain before the rehab but hate the new music-- for me it was 1/2 the ride. I still love the ride but really wish for the old surfer music.
I also don't know anyone else who has developed a raging crush on Bob Iger...:darth:
Yes I gone to the dark side.

What!? They changed the music?! My DH is going to be bummed. We loved that music. What kind of music do they use now?

I have to explain a few things ;) :

WWS is wonderful because it is quiet and peaceful even when the park is crowded. And they have an amazing chicken sandwhich!

Bengal BBQ is wonderful because I can get a Banyan (spicey) Beef skewer and a vegetable skew and be full and feel like I ate someone healthy. At least I got my veggies in! However, I do agree with the person who said they don't get why the veggie skewer doesn't come with sauce.
Look! We made our own complete with sauce!

As for Face Book- I joined to keep tabs on my teenage sons. :rotfl: But I have made some good connections. And I was able to get back in contact with some other moms of twins that I had lost track of, so that is good. I sort of get it. And I like getting updates from the Disney sites.

I started reading all the responses and thinking "me too". i realized I have a lot of "i don't get" but I do love Disneyland!

I don't get paying 200-300+ for a hotel room but that's just me being a tightwad and thinking how much chocolate I can buy with that extra $$

I don't get sitting on the ground/sidewalk for 2-3 hours waiting for a parade,Fantasmic or fireworks. I would love to do the desert thing once.

Turkey legs, Michael Jackson/Caption EO, Carousel of Progress (or whatever it's called--I don't go in there much), Tiki Room, why they've never put a ride where Thunder Ranch is or where the old bar thing is back in the corner by Splash Mountain (always seemed like a strange dead end there), where the princess thing is,crocs.

What I love is Disneyland is so clean, relaxing, has rides that everyone in the family can ride and things to see that kids relate to. Chocolate covered strawberries, dole whips, happy air in DL!

I don't get the monte cristo sandwhich. Heart attack on a plate. As a matter of fact my best friend who gets it everytime we go did have a heart attack this year.

Splash mountain. I get the end is exciting, but before that it is so boring and confusing. Almost no young people even know the story.

I HATE what they did to the submarinbe ride. The new nemo ride is boring and a total joke.

My issue with Splash Mountain is the opposite, I love the ride until that awful drop at the end!! But I do remember the story, and I think the fact that my dad sang Zipadeedooda (or however you spell that, lol) all of the time as a kid makes me love it more! I did have to try to explain the story to my daughter as apparently you can't buy it in the US anymore!!

I don't get the dole whips, It was ok, but kind of tasted of burnt plastic, which made me sad cuz I love pineapple! I also don't get the Pommes Fritas, yucky! Honestly food wise the only thing I really like and must have every trip is a caramel apple, prefferably the apple pie ones, Yumm!!!!!

I don't get how there's no DL here, and I have to sit on a plane for 14 hours to get there..

I don't get how there's no DL here, and I have to sit on a plane for 14 hours to get there..

Amen to that!

And I just can't understand why my friend - who lives 15 minutes from DLR - has only been ONCE in the 6 years she's lived over there! I'll be setting her straight next year... ;)

I don't get how there's no DL here, and I have to sit on a plane for 14 hours to get there..

And they always make out that the car yard on the harbour is going to be a DTD style area. They have been saying that for years, and my mickey ears got all grown up and I am still waiting... :confused3

I "don't get" Fantasmic. Or waiting around for any of the parades (other than the Electrical Light Parade.. that will always be awesome!), especially High School Musical.

sasywtch, CoP hasn't been in DL since like the early 70's I believe.

I knew it didn't sound right:goodvibes What's the name of that thing where you go in and the door revolves? (tells you how much we pay attention to it...we go either in the direction of space mountain or autopia (or the bathrooms back in there).
