Mine goes back to when I first started using the internet in 1994 and registering an e-mail with AOL - I thought I needed a handle that wasn't my name, so I used my black labrador retriever's name - Zackie...is was already taken, so I tried to add a 'dog' to the end - but that was taken too - so I went with 'dawg' and that worked. Had it ever since - and pretty much have always used it for message boards.

When I joined in 1999, many people were just choosing their first name, there was already a Cheryl, so I just chose Cheryl.UK (Where I come from)
