I'd say college in Indiana certainly counts. I am an IU alumni so Indiana college works for me.

I had an emphasis in archeoastronomy in college, I like the word/concept, and I figured it was a name no one else would have on a Disney board.

I was born early, not expected to make it. I was a fighter and my dad kept saying "she is an independent girl". My nickname quickly became indygirl.

Mine is because hubby's nickname for me is Wilma (from a chat up line he used when we first met "I'm no Fred Flintstone but I'll make your bed rock" And the 'bride' bit is because I was planning our wedding when I first started using forums like Hitched and The Knot, so that became my username. I just kept it because it was easier to remember than something else
