What Does Your MVMCP Ticket Look Like?

I ordered a bunch of tickets from Shades of Green for the 2019 MVMCP. I've never done a special event. Tickets came today and they are just regular card style tickets with pictures of the attractions on each of them. There is no designation between adult and child tickets. Not sure what I expected. I'm guessing it doesn't matter, really. I'm just going to scan these into MDE and link to each person? If I didn't have MDE and used the tickets would there be any designation for child or adult?

Thanks!

If there is a difference in price between a child and adult ticket that is ordered from Shades of Green then, yes.
Did you read the "fine print" on the tickets?
Are there prices listed?

Actually, my cousin has the tickets and she only sent me a picture of the front. She said they were no different on the back between the tickets. Just a barcodes. But I'll look at them myself when I see her. Thanks!

There is always "fine print" on the back of WDW tickets.

Otherwise, the "fronts" can be identical (or not) but, that doesn't matter at all.

So there is fine print on the back of each ticket but it's all the same.

In one corner, someone (SoG employee) has handwritten the date "11/8" on all the tickets. Then two of the tickets have "CH" handwritten on them so that's the children's tickets. There is then a blank space that says the person's name should be written and to "refer to receipt for Ticket Name." I'm sure all the tickets say this.

Standard ticket you’d think they’d be themed to Christmas or Halloween. Nope

They discontinued the themed party tickets years ago. They’ve been the generic tickets for quite a while now. I think that it may be because these tickets are linked in MDE just like any other admission media and after they have been used for admission, they can still be used like a MB or other hard ticket. I got mine yesterday. All of them portray a different attraction.

Thanks. We just couldn't tell which was the child's ticket versus the adult and the handwriting in sharpie marker was fairly sloppy.

So we should just link these tickets as we do regular ones? When I enter the park at 4:00 for the party, scanning in won't make use of one of my park day tickets will it? It will somehow know to scan for the party?

1. You can, if you like.
2. There are separate gates assigned specifically to entering party guests (and there are signs that designate them.

Thank you so much for the info. We've never done a party before and only got a acquainted with Magic Bands last year (which I love). I've got 16 in my trip this year and 12 of them haven't been to Disney in 23 years so it's been confusing. Love the help here!
