What does this mean???

The November promo in the past has been "free days". It was pay for 4 get 7,then pay 5 get 7 the following year.[I] I recieved this info. from a reliable source. Has anyone gone to WDW when this promo was taking place? I am curious to see what it includes as a "free day", is it just room or is is tics. too? I have nnnnoooo idea.

we did the 5 for 7 promo in '04 (the last time they offered it, i believe) and it was just as it said... pay rack rate for five nights plus buy tickets for five days and receive a reservation for 7 nights @ the hotel and park tickets for 7 days...

given the new pricing structure of Magic Your Way packages, i don't expect we'll see the X for Y deals again anytime soon...

We did the pay for 4 get 7 a few years ago. We paid rack rate for the room for four days and got to stay 7. We paid for length of stay tickets for four day and got 7.

We did the 4 for 7 in August 2003. We got 7 nights at the WL with Unlimited Park Hoppers (that's what they were called then) for 2 adults for about $1700.00 total. I thought it was a good deal at the time. I have NOT seen this offer since 2004, however, so I wouldn't hold your breath about it becoming available again. I think it was offered primarily to get people travelling again after 9/11. In December of 2001 I got an amazing Annual Passholder rate of $199.00 per night (before tax) at the Grand Floridian - and this was over Christmas! Again, I think it was due to tourism being down due to 9/11.

Anyway, what we do is book the resort and room category we want and save a little bit each month to pay the trip off before we go. We also know what we can/cannot afford and never book beyond our means in 'hopes' of a code/discount/special offer.

Those "free days" promos were in 2003 and 2004. The offer was not repeated in 2005. It did not include room-only reservations and had to be booked with a package. You had to book a package for a minumum of 4 or 5 nights (depending on the offer) to get the remaining nights for free. At the time, packages included length-of-stay passes. Current packages are more flexible.

Like gigi1313 said, I'm skeptical that we will see this offer again now that Disney has switched to Magic Your Way packages. However, I never thought that "free dining" would be repeated and much to my surprise, it's been offered again. I am confident that there will be some sort of package deals for early November. Just keep your fingers crossed and your eyes open!
