What does the Cinderella dress look like at BBB?

Hello all. I am taking my DD to WDW for her 3rd birthday this September - 65 days to be exact! I am taking her to BBB on her her actual birthday. We are just getting hair and nails because she will be getting the Cinderella dress for her birthday before we leave. My question is, is the dress at the Disney Store the same as the one at BBB? If not, will she stick out like a sore thumb if it's a different dress? I usually don't care at all what other people think but I don't want people to look at her funny since she brought her own dress. I don't know anything about BBB so hopefully I'm making a big deal out of nothing! Thanks for any input!

Bring your own dress unless you are prepared to pay close to $100 for one at WDW. I brought my own Cindy dress (you can see it in my avatar) and DD looked adorable (if I do say so myself . You will see all kinds of dresses from the cheap cheap to handmade to super expensive. I got this one for $14 after Halloween and at a consignment shop, still in the package. I just picked up silver glitter ballet flats at Target to go with it. AND, DD stayed in that dress all day (I was prepared with a change of clothes though) and even played on the playgrounds....so had she been in a $100 dress, she would not have been playing in that thing all day.

When we were at the BBB none of the kids bought the dress there - everyone brought their own dresses - too expensive otherwise!

I took my kids to BBB on our last 2 trips. Both times we brought outfits from home and they didn't stick out at all. Don't give it another thought... Have FUN!!!!!

I know someone recommended going to the barber shop on Main Street. Is the experience at BBB worth 50.00. I have two dds.

We have done both. If you can at all swing it, it is so worth it. We did it as a one time only thing in November 2006, but it was so amazing my grandmother urged me to do it again (I wanted to but was worried about the money) and we did in November 2008 and I am so glad! The kids will never forget it and neither willI and the photos are priceless!!!

Hi, OP here - this was actually an old thread I posted back in July. It actually makes me sad to see it since our trip has come and gone

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I ended up getting her haircut at the Harmony Barber shop in Main Street in MK. I just thought that DD would not get the whole BBB thing since she was turning 3. I didn't want to spend the money and have her not get it, ya know? So we ended up getting her first haircut in MK. What a special memory for her. Here is a pic of her getting her pixie dust.

She also got "1st Haircut" ears and a certificate. All for $15! We'll save BBB for when she's a bit older.

I should not be sad about my trip being over because we already have another one planned for this May! A mother/daughter trip. My mother's day present

I didn't realize it was a first haircut, the barber Shop was a great choice. We did that for our youngest and I only wish I had known aobut it for the older 2 kids. It was great. Glad you had fun!!! BBB isn't going anywhere...
