Some players use "kk" when talking to me and I have no idea what it means. :confused3

From what I can tell it just means "okay." In chat shorthand, people normally use "k," but that is not accepted by VMK, and for some bizarre reasons, "kk" is. This is just my own impression, someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. :)

SO glad you asked! I've been trying to figure that one out.
Okay Cool
KK (two stikes?)
King Kong
Krispy Kreme
Kick (in the) Keister
Keep Kansas
Kibosh (the) Knights
Know Kilroy?
KoolAid Kid
Kids Know
Kidney Kick
Kawasaki Kids
(probably the first one, but, it gave me something to think about)

:teeth:

there should be a chat speak of vmk guide on here

so people understand the meanings of things from afk to bbl

Some People On VMK Use "kk"instead of "ok"even i use it
Some People Dont Understand it but its absolutley worth it

I'm on a personal quest to remove crap like this from the dictionary!!!

I'm sorry kids, this is NOT text messaging here. :) You aren't charged every time you post and you have a seperate button for each letter you want to type.

Here's the list of words, in no particular order:

omg
plz
pls
kk
ru
ur
u
im

If I hear plz one more time (or read it?) I'm going to SCREAM! Being that I'm a teacher, this just proves to me exactly why we have trouble teaching our kids to write properly.

Ok this thread is making me "LMAO".....I love the list Lab....

MMORPG's have changed the way we talk over the internet...

Doon't forget my personal faves, "sup" and "wat". I mean, does it REALLY take that much extra time and energy to put the "h" in "what"?

I've always wondered this myself. However, DBF pointed out that if you are a two finger or hunt and peck typer that one letter makes a difference. Truly, I think it's more confusing to remember the wrong way to type it. ;)

Though, I'm always getting locked out of typing because VMK says I typed too fast and have to wait ___ seconds until I can type again. Oh, how I hate when that happens!! :earboy2:

Oh, I hate that! It happens to me all the time, and I haven't seen much consistency in how "fast" is "too fast" for it!

I can type "ok" in VMK so why do they replace one letter.

It's insane, especially as the O is just above the K!

Hats off to GBShorts! That was one of my 38 or so points in my first feedback letter to VMK, that they were promoting illiteracy... that and being slack at work.

I think "kk" (meaning Okay as others have stated) is a internet society-wide thing. I have not played this VMK game, but I have seen it regularly used in other online gaming apps.

I will send them feedback that they are inconsistently promoting illiteracy.

Kellogg's calls their sugar bomb cereal "Cinnamon Krunchers", yet VMK insists on putting "Cinnamon Crunchers" in the dictionary.

How dare they? Un-correct the correct spelling! I want Krunchers!

LOL! I use it because I want to get it over with. I mean, people want answers quick, so I just use those too. I am very smart and lately when I've been writing I end up saying u instead of you. I quickly fix it, but ya I get ur ( oops there I go again, your) point. :rotfl:

This reminds me of a little ditty I once heard:

~Ohhhhhh, if you want to be posessive, it's just "I-T-S", but if it's just a contraction, it's "I-T-apostrophe-S". Scalawag.~

1,000 points to whomever guesses where I got that song from.

Nope. :)

I will give a hint: It's a really popular webtoon.
