Hi, I'm new to this forum, although not new to DIS boards. We've been to DW a couple of yrs ago and would like to take our dd, who is 33, but mentally disabled to US. I'm thinking that I'd like to stay at RPR. I know near nothing about the packaging that could be purchased. What is the meal plan, and what does it include? What about the park tickets? I think we're looking at 4 nites.

When we were at DW, we did spend a lot of time back at the resort. Our dd tolerance for the heat wasn't so good. We would go back to the pool after lunch and hang out. We went with her pace.

What would the estimate be, high/low, for a complete package? Is there a better way to price something like that. This would be for 2009, and I realize that prices change.

Thanks for the help!

You are usually better off not to buy a package. Tickets can be purchased for $80 each that includes 7 consecutive days at both parks. Cheap room rates can be found using AAA.

Since you are not going until next year, I would still purchase tickets now since it is unlikely that they will be this cheap next year.

Meal plan should probably be avoided. It only includes counter service restaurants.

Since your DD cant take the heat, have you thought about going in the fall/winter?

these are rack rates, but you should be able to get a good idea of the prices. We stay at the HRH in October every year, I have noticed that last years rack rates are this years discounted rates ( pretty close anyway)
You might get better rates if you go during value season, plus Nov - Dec will be much cooler for your DD. :)
