What Does Everyone Do For Breakfast?

We were the people waiting for security to open each morning of our last trip (aka super early) so we usually just grab Starbucks on our way through DTD and eat while we're in line. Then a couple of hours into the day we'll stop and grab a real breakfast at Jolly Holiday or one day we did a late reservation at Plaza Inn for a character breakfast.

Seconding the people recommending Steakhouse 55 as well. We did breakfast there the last day (non park day) before we left town and it was a great way to finish the trip.

Steakhouse 55 looks pretty good and it looks they open at 7:00 which is great. Is there a dress code at breakfast?

No it's casual even though the restaurant itself looks more upscale. Most people we saw in there were in their park attire, so mostly t-shirts and shorts.

The Earl of Sandwich is open for Breakfast, but I don't know how early. If I remember they also have some grab and go items and outstanding OJ. They located right next to DLH in DTD.

As per DH's request, NO character meals and I want to be through before the park opens. Neither of us is really interested in counter service for breakfast.
Does anyone order things like fruit or yogurt to keep in the room? Booze for a nightcap would be nice too. Any way to do this?

Also, what kind of coffee makers are in the rooms? We like to bring our own.

Thanks!

We bring food from home (Nutrigrain Bars, granola bars, gogurts, etc) , plus, we like to stop at Jamba Juice and get a smoothie and a quick bite (for those who want something to go along with the smoothie..ie breakfast wrap). I)side Whitewater Snacks and The Starbucks in both parks (didn't make it to the one in DTD) have yummy yogurt parfaits that hold up well in the fridge. You can make an order from Vons (which is Safeway in our neck of the woods) for a delivery of items you would like (yogurt, booze, bagels, etc ).

Depends...usually whatever the hotel has for their "free" breakfast. But my next trip will be a solo trip that I plan to eat places the "group" doesn't normally want to, so I will likely try out a couple places breakfast.
