I am a Quality Specialist for a Technical Support call centre :listen:

Kelly

I'm a Behavior Intervention Specialist at a Therapeutic Day School.

I am a Building Contractor/Carpenter and my father and I have a partnership together in that field. I say Carpenter because thats the part I enjoy. I love building cabinets, mantles, etc. The kind of stuff Norm Abram would be doing on New Yankee Workshop, those type things.

DW aka TammyNC is a SAHM. In previous life she worked for a large CPA firm in our hometown. She now homeschools our DD12 and DS10 and has a part-time bookkeeping business at home. She has a very busy but rewarding life.

I am currently a lending manager for a large credit union. (Who is hoping to retire to stay at home wife soon) DH just took a position as VP of Commercial Banking for a regional bank in May.

Monorail driver! (that's been my retirement dream since I was 5 yrs old and I'm stickin to it!)

In the mean time, I am an attorney.

My husband and I are both professors. He is at a small private midwestern university at one end of twin towns, I am a prof at the large state university in the other end of the other town! We knew eachother in high school, but didn't date, re-met in grad school and have been married for 20 years. Income as profs isn't great, and we can only vacation during the summer, but it works.

I'm afraid we're on your husband's team -- IWU '83 & '84
:wave2:

I am a spoiled wife. :) but before my marriage I was a consultant for several companys but mainly hotels and resorts.

I just went thru 8 pages and was surprised to see no cops. We're people too :goodvibes DW is probation officer for kids. Two parents in law enforcement--- my kids are in trouble when the teens hit :)

You missed mine! Well, technically not yet, my dh is in support (Forensics) but he is seriously considering becoming an officer early next year. Hey, and my BIL is a probation officer too, but for adults.

I'm currently a SAHM, previously worked in operations for a large brokerage firm/bank. DH is an electrical engineer.

Project Manager. I work for a supermarket company.

I also do a little wholesale stained glass work on the side. I used have my own business full time in that.

DH manages the pro shop of a golf clubhouse in season, and works at LL Bean off-season.

My DH is a policeman, 22 years on the force, now a sergeant. DDs are now 23 and 19, and they LOVE the fact that their dad is a cop. NOBODY messes with THEM!! Seriously, they do love the fact that he's a cop and are ver proud of the fact. They don't hesitate to tell anyone what he does.

I, on the other hand, teach Special Ed grades 6 thru 8. DDs HATE that because all of my patience is used up before I get home to them. And they do try my patience!! Usually on days when DH is on night work and not at home.

Disney is our "relaxing place"!

I'm an Account Manager for a large regional paper manufacturer here in the Northwest. I've been doing this for 15 years and hope to retire in another 5 years. I love being in sales and have been trying to convince teenage DD that it's a great career for women. She, on the other hand, wants to be an attorney in family law.

I've been a SAHM for the past 17 years and this Spring I started working part time as a substitute Paraprofessional working with children with special needs in my town's school district. My DH is an HVAC Technician. :flower:

I am (per my tags!) a science geek -- PhD chemist now working in new product development for a Fortune 100 company.

DH has an MS in microbiology and works for the same company as an environmental coordinator.

Too cool. My DH is a PhD chemist too (per screen name.) Inorgainc mostly, and is now in education (as stated a few pages ago.) If he went into industury most likely it would pay better, but he does get July and Aug of to spend time with family (the only down side those are not got times to go to WDW!)

Managing director for a systems integration/business consultant company.

And someday, I want to be a travel agent specializing in Disney!
