What does everyone do for a living?

Leslie54, tell your daughter to stop by if she wants to talk Disney! And oh yes, band camp! By the end of the week I think even I know the drum cadences! This year was horrible on the kids though- heat indexes in the 100's and they were still out on the quad and the fields working away. They sounded great as usual despite the heat! Much prefer band camp to cheer camp- those cheer leaders are just TOO disney happy and spirited!

Just a few short weeks away from the start of another year. Have you ever noticed how freshmen keep getting younger and younger!

Network Adminstrator (I/T) for the local hospital. I'd much rather be a writer, tho.
It appears that education related jobs seem to be in the majority.
 
I am a SAHM to two kids and a Molli (our Rottie).

DH is a Database Administrator (AKA Computer Nerd).

DH and I also own our own business renting inflatable moonbounces, waterslides, concession machines, etc... that monopolizes our weekends. (At least those parts not monopolized by baseball, softball, and/or flag football!) It is a fun business to own (most of the time). You are the kids' best friend when you arrive to set up the equipment and their worst enemy when you come back to pick it up! Go figure!

I am a 4th grade teacher with 30 years in so far, and DH is in logistics and trucking for a styrofoam company. :teacher:
 
I am (per my tags!) a science geek -- PhD chemist now working in new product development for a Fortune 100 company.

DH has an MS in microbiology and works for the same company as an environmental coordinator.
 
I am a part-time physician assistant in endocrinology (thyroid, osteoporosis, etc) and a full-time medical writer. I'll be switching that around in Sept for a full-time PA gig.

DH is a network services manager in IT at the YMCA here in town.
 
I am an RN with 22 years in various aspects of nursing, but mostly hospital care.Dabbled in homecare and insurance review as well.

DH is the Sales Manager of a real estate office.
 
I'm a Mad Scientist. We run educational, hands-on science programs for preschool and elementary schools. DW is a salon coordinator. Although in past lives we were both in the business they call 'show'.

Me: SAHM to 2 girls (9 and 2) for the last 3 years. Prior to that: an Office Administrator for a Geotechnical Engineering firm for 11+ years.
 
I am a waitress at at restaurant on Cape Cod, have been there for 20 years. DH is a loan verification officer and manager for a timeshare company with a number of resorts here in the Northeast.(It took some doing to convert him to DVC since we have lots of access to other Orlando resorts.....which of course I had no desire to stay at any!!!) ::MinnieMo
 
By degree, I'm an Engineer
By heart, I'm an Imagineer... I just haven't made it there yet!

Let me know if you know of any openings!!!

My dh and I have a running agreement that if either of us finds a job in Orlando. Then the other will quit their job and we will all move to Orlando! Just in case, dh is an accountant/financial analyst so, really if you know of any openings in either area!! (of course they have to pay really good so that we can pay our DVC dues!!)
 
Teacher. I teach 6th, 7th, & 8th grade gifted language arts. I'm also a graduate student starting my second master's. Steve is a controller (or a comptroller, if you prefer) and tax accountant.
