I (Michael) work as a manager for a powered equipment repair company to The Home Depot, semi-retired from Automotive Engineering and Mfg.

What I WISHED I did... Vagabond :teeth:

My wife Melissa is a DNA supervisor of a state forensics lab.

What she WISHED she did... World-wide Super Hotty :worship: :cutie:

DH is retired - for 20 years now - from a government job

I have been a paralegal / legal secretary / office manager for over 40 years. Always been in the legal field in the same location in Florida.

For close to two years now I have not been able to work due to a very serious illness. I have been very lucky and came out of it and am recovering at the current time.

I would go back to work in a heart beat, if the doctors were to give me clearance, but to date, they will not do it.

DD#1 is in real estate
DD #2 is a human resource administrator for a S.E. U.S. medical group
DS is an officer in the Army and helicopter instructer/flyer and retires at age 43 in less than 2 years.

I am a driving instructor here in Ontario, and DW is a Dietary Aide at a retirement home. So YES I am the guy in front of you holding you up when you are late for work.......... :rotfl: WELL let me re-phrase that, my student is the one in front of you holding you up when you are late for work and I am watching your interesting facial contortions in my rear-view mirror :rotfl2:

I, like mamatojon, have a BA in sociology, but decide to get teaching certificate so that I might actually be able to get a job after graduating college. LOL

:rotfl2: Too true. I've considered doing that too, I could get a Masters in Teaching in a year at the UW - but (BIG but) I don't really think I like kids! LOL . :earboy2: I mean I love my own and my family but I don't have a lot of patience so maybe I shouldn't go there, huh? :rotfl:

I work in financial / banking industry, unfortunatly. My forte is art & design. :confused3
I would love to run my own business some day. :flower:

Hi Bobbi,

Yes, we play mostly around Indiana. Sometimes in Kentucky and Ohio, too. Our family group "Jewell Family" is scheduled at Bill Monroe's bluegrass park in Bean Blossom, Indiana, next month. My dad is also conducting a banjo workshop at Meridian Music in Carmel, IN, next Friday. I'll be there picking and grinning along with him. :)

DW and I own an insurance agency and sell insurance, mutual funds and bank products.

I own a Pilates studio, I instruct there as well. My job gives me the flexibilty and time to raise my two children. I can say I absolutely LOVE my job.
