interesting to know what everyone does.
lots of IT people, of course...
btw, have you ever noticed how America is so work-centric?
one of the first questions that people always ask is "what do you do?"
dbf and i are both IT people.
i'm a Database Analyst/Admin + he's an IT Consultant (does everything, but mostly Web Design).
we both would like to believe we are not defined by what we do for a living... especially since we don't like our jobs at all! heh.
oh well, pays the bills for now...
I am a bank Vice President, Pubic Relations. My DH was a police officer, retired early due to injuries received during line of duty. He now sells residential and commercial real estate.
Started out running hotels and now own a hotel management company. We also own and operate a tour and transportation company and dabble in retail with a souvenir store. DH is also the county excecutive here. Yes, we are crazy, and need to take alot of breaks at WDW!! We have great staff that allows us to leave for DVC without a worry!
I help companies solve critical busines problems.. i.e. I sell predicitive analytic software, certified financial planner, MOM and DVC planner, and DH is a software engineer.
Dream job... when I retire i want to work in the air conditioned shops at Magic Kingdom.. DH wants to be a Master Builder at LEGO store.
I would love to follow all of you around to see what you actually do for a living!
I am a first grade teacher under a Nazi administrator and DH is Traffic Manager for a plastic company.
My fantasy job would be a rancher--I would love to work with my hands When I retire, I plan to be a Walmart greeter during the summer, and in the winter as the person who just sits at DVC and says, "Welcome Home!" DH wants to be a bus driver at WDW.
I'm really enjoying this thread! I'm an electrician in NYC, taking a much needed break after working 70 hour weeks for the past year at Ground Zero. My DW is a Managing Director of marketing for a health care company. My dream job is to be a taste tester at Victoria and Alberts.
