What does everyone do for a living?

I'm an engineer with the National Weather Service. I always have to explain why an engineer is working for the NWS. I'm responsible for all of our facilities in 14 states (maintenance, repair, new construction, budgets, etc.). DW is a store manager for Sears.

I'm a graphic artist (Macs rule!), and DW is an accountant. We have our own business that specializes in graphic design (logos, direct mail, brochures, worship guide shells, etc.) for churches throughout the USA. We both get to work out of our home. We also have one other employee, and he works out of his home as well.

I'm an NFL quarterback, no wait, that's my fantasy life.
I'm really and accountant that owns a tire recycling company and a truck tire retread plant. My DW also helps me run everything.

I'm a speech-language pathologist in two suburban elementary schools. DH is a soon-to-be-former electronics technician who is going back to school full time in January to major in computer engineering.

Mostly confused, in the middle of my 40's, and don't know what I want to be.

For 14 years I ran my family business as General Manager of a sausage manufacturing company in Houston.

Then I worked for an independent pathologist for 3 1/2 years as her bookkeeper and transcriptionist.

Now, for the last 5 years, I am an office manager for a small commercial construstion company.

Like I said, CONFUSED!

My husband is in the food industry.

Oh well, at least we get to eat good!

I am a government contract specialist. It's deskwork. I'd like to be an appraiser/estate liquidator. DH is the estimator/manager of a family owned construction business. He wants to be a home inspector. We might actually get to try the new careers in a few years. Diana

I am a logistics planner for a trucking company. I am also the family DVC planner.

DW is a SAHM, works p/t at a local sports arena, is the Treasurer of DS3's nursery co-op, and is the "Room-Mom" in DS5's class.

I am a SAHM more than half way through my MA in Humanities. DH is Partner/Manager of small business which owns several grocery stores and a bookstore and handles HR, IT, Marketing for such. We are currently looking to move somewhere WARMER, and hopefully we can keep doing these same jobs somewhere else! hehehehe

Dream jobs - Me - One of two back-up singers in Tarzan Rocks show at Animal Kingdom.
DH - Would have Maistre Gracey's job and fly people around in a private jet.

Funny: Recently we were at WDW, and my mom asked the guy who was actually doing the job, how to become a Monorail driver. Who knows...we may all get our dream jobs someday!

I am in retail management and DH is a graphic designer with a small printing company. He is currently going to DeVry to get a tech degree and will be done in March and hopes to get a better job. I am starting back to school in July to get my MBA with the hopes of increasing my earning potential and getting out of the field in retail.

I am a Financial Analyst with IBM (hi LodgeMan) and my wife is currently a SAHM. She was a Project Manager at IBM in their Learning Services Division pre-kids. I also dabble in real estate investing on the side. Own 3 rental houses looking to buy more.
