Gee, didn't even realize I was a commando, but reading all these posts, I guess I qualify! After 8 trips, I think I'm calming down a little, but we're still getting a wake up call, we're still getting to the park for early entry, we still have a plan of what park we are going to on what day, we still have a plan of where we are going to eat each meal, we still know what day we're going to watch what parade and/or evening shows.
We always go with my parents who are not as commando as I. We have a great understanding - if we want to start out together, great! If not, we'll see you later, maybe at lunch if we have a PS. If there's something else that you want to do, great.
My dad has problems occassionally with gout in his feet. He's been known to rent a
scooter thing and just keeep going. Doesn't want to miss a thing. (Maybe he's a commando too).
I feel the same way - I spent a lot of money on this vacation, I want to enjoy it to the fullest. I don't feel the need to do every little thing, but I don't want to feel like I spent all this money to sleep in the room. I can do that at home for free.
