The keys! Now I have to find something big enough, yet not back-packish that they think I'm bringing in things, for the camera, umbrella AND the keys...
Hey middle-aged-woman....wear WHATEVER you want! You've been to waaayyy more concerts that most of the folks there. You are entitled to wear whatever you want. If it's raining, wear rain-proof hair, tennis shoes, and leave the cell in the glove compartment of the car! Take the camera and have a blast!
And above all....stop stressing!!! A concert is not worth the worry you are putting into it IMO.
Ok I'm out the door in about my 4th outfit....jeans, knee-high suede brown boots with a wedge heel, a black tank top with my 1985 RATT World Tour ripped baseball shirt over that, then a faded grey hoodie (open of course so you can see the vintage Ratt shirt. I'm scaring myself but the family says I look like a rocker. Still no idea what to do about the bag/purse so I'll take both in the car & see what everyone else has in the parking lot.
You wear jeans and a shirt that you won't sweat in. It will get really hot.Don't bring a pocketbook in.
Have a great time. I'm trying to talk my husband into going to Poison Def Lep in June.
Heck. I'm trying to talk MYSELF into getting a ticket...
Jeans and a tee shirt are what I wear. Shorts if it's summer. I don't even carry a pocketbook anyways. But I wouldn't carry one as I'd be worrying about whether or not someone would loot it while I'm rockin' away.
I still go to concerts and I just wear jeans or capri's and a shirt. No purse, handbag, clutch or anything like that. A lot of places wont let you take anything in and I hate having to carry anything around.
Plus it's really cumberson if you decide to hop in the mosh pit
OMG I gotta say I had the best time last night! It was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to BUT it was emabrrassingly empty - maybe 75 people - so it was like a private event! The band didn't seem to care that it wasn't well attended, they played their hearts out & sounded amazing. I got some great pics but am off to work now, maybe I will post some tonight.
Anything went as far as clothing - guys in khakis & dress shirts to girls in lingerie. Everyone had a bag, they didn't even ask or check. One person in our group had a tripod & professional camera & they said sure go right in.
