What does a middle-aged mom wear to a heavy metal concert??!

The keys! :headache: Now I have to find something big enough, yet not back-packish that they think I'm bringing in things, for the camera, umbrella AND the keys...

Hey middle-aged-woman....wear WHATEVER you want! You've been to waaayyy more concerts that most of the folks there. You are entitled to wear whatever you want. If it's raining, wear rain-proof hair, tennis shoes, and leave the cell in the glove compartment of the car! Take the camera and have a blast!

And above all....stop stressing!!! A concert is not worth the worry you are putting into it IMO. :)

Who besides you and your date, is going to care what you where? Just be comfy.

and they are only going to see the inside of the shirt, when you "attract" the attention of the band. Hehehehehee

Mikeeee

Faded jeans, black shirt, boots. No purse.

Last year I saw Gamma Ray and Helloween in concert together and it was awesome.

Jeans, casual blouse or tshirt, sneakers, no purse, put necessities in jeans pocket.

Ok I'm out the door in about my 4th outfit....jeans, knee-high suede brown boots with a wedge heel, a black tank top with my 1985 RATT World Tour ripped baseball shirt over that, then a faded grey hoodie (open of course so you can see the vintage Ratt shirt. I'm scaring myself but the family says I look like a rocker. Still no idea what to do about the bag/purse so I'll take both in the car & see what everyone else has in the parking lot.

You wear jeans and a shirt that you won't sweat in. It will get really hot.Don't bring a pocketbook in.
Have a great time. I'm trying to talk my husband into going to Poison Def Lep in June.

Heck. I'm trying to talk MYSELF into getting a ticket...

Jeans and a tee shirt are what I wear. Shorts if it's summer. I don't even carry a pocketbook anyways. But I wouldn't carry one as I'd be worrying about whether or not someone would loot it while I'm rockin' away.

I still go to concerts and I just wear jeans or capri's and a shirt. No purse, handbag, clutch or anything like that. A lot of places wont let you take anything in and I hate having to carry anything around.

Plus it's really cumberson if you decide to hop in the mosh pit ;)

Cheap Trick, Poison, Def Lep... can't wait!!!

I'd leave the purse for fear that I'd lose it.

HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would wear dark clothes and no bag. Just put your key in one pocket and your id and insurance proof or whatever in the other.

Have fun!

I'm taking my teens to see Motley Crue next week. I plan to wear jeans, black boots with a small heel and a t-shirt.

We saw them Sunday!

When I say Tommy you say Lee...tommy....lee (gotta love how Tommy ends the show).

Nothing better that hearing that motorcylce in the beginning of Girls!

OMG I gotta say I had the best time last night! It was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to BUT it was emabrrassingly empty - maybe 75 people - so it was like a private event! The band didn't seem to care that it wasn't well attended, they played their hearts out & sounded amazing. I got some great pics but am off to work now, maybe I will post some tonight.

Anything went as far as clothing - guys in khakis & dress shirts to girls in lingerie. Everyone had a bag, they didn't even ask or check. One person in our group had a tripod & professional camera & they said sure go right in.

Steven Adler rocks!
