Hi all. We are leaving for DL tomorrow and I am flying with my 7 month old. I know what I need but do I need anything for him? We are flying on Delta from Boston to Ontario, Ca. Thanks

If you didn't buy him a seat, you are technically supposed to show proof that he's under 2 and can be a lap child. Given his age it's easy to see that he's not 2 yet but I think I"d bring a copy of the birth cert just in case. If you bought him a seat you really don't need anything documentation wise.....
Have a good trip!

All I have ever needed when they were little was a birth certificate.Have fun.

Hi Bellacam! :goodvibes
We've travelled lots with both of our kids and never had to show anything for either of them. When DD started looking like she wasn't 2 anymore we brought her birth cert. along just in case they questioned us (we didn't buy her a seat), but nobody has ever said anything! Have fun on your trip to DL, can't wait to hear about it when you get back!

I left Aidans birth certificate at home, 4 hours away from where we are flying out of tomorrow! I did buy him his own seat and I called Delta and they said he did not need any documentation. I hope this is true!

If you bought him his own seat you will be fine! Even if you didn't, I think things would be been Ok anyways given how young he is (I think it gets more problematic if you don't buy a seat and the child looks closer to the age cutoff of 2). Don't worry and have a good trip!

Any child under the age of 18 requires absolutely no documentation or identification.
