What do youHAVE to do on your trip?

The very first evening, we have to eat freshly made chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches while watching the colors on Cinderella's castle change and the park slowly close.

We will have to do some sort of Princess meal - either CRT or the Norway one.

I "need" to ride the newer rides, Mission Space, Soarin, EE.

Other than that I'm going to remain flexible.

a caramel apple, dipped in fudge, rolled in walnuts and drizzled with chocolate. The only place I have found that exact one is at MGM. I would go to that park even if that were the only thing there!

We have been taking a family portrait with the Andy Griffith bust at MGM since my son was ten months old (he is now 4.5 yrs. old). We also have to eat at the Rainforest and I have to take yet one more picture of Cinderella's castle.

Chef Mickey's on the first night.

Fireworks on the last night....either Wishes or Illuminations.

Trip to Marketplace for shopping mid-week every trip........we use this as a no-parks day to stretch our vacation without stretching our dollars.

Checking out other resorts and picking the next trip's.

Ride in the front of the monorail on the way to MK, first night before or after Chef Mickey's.

Crystal Palace for lunch on an MK day.

Certain attractions must be done.

Always have to do EMH one day in MK for Dumbo and Fantasyland.

I absolutely adore dressing my kids in similar style...........same movie, different characters................. same characters, different poses..........same color shirt, different characters/attractions...................switching color and trim with any characters (son wearing a gray shirt with Grumpy with white beard, son2 wearing white shirt with gray thumper.......same colors, but switching out the one emphasized and the accent). My kids are 7 years apart, so I waited a long time being able to coordinate........I only do it at Disney, Christmas and Easter.

Besides staying onsite....Go on Peter Pan. No other ride gets me in the Disney mood as that ride does.....Never Never Land, Take me away!!!

Mickey's Philharmagic! God _ i love that show - we need to do that very first thing! Puts everyone right in the Disney mood! Makes me cry!
It's A Small World - must be done! We actually rescheduled a trip due to the refurbishment last year. We were going with my mom, and that was her favorite memory of Disney with us as kids! Could not miss that with her grandchildren!

ANY character breakfast!
Our first family vacation we didn't do one...didn't really know about them.
Now we can't IMAGINE going to Disney without at least one ! I can't believe how many people we know who have stayed on site and not booked a character breakfast ..

The fact that any of you can pick just one is incredible!!!! UGH! Everything is pretty much a "must do. " But the neat thing is this: When we first get to the hotel, we make a beeline for MK. There is something about walking under the bridge onto Main Street, hearing the music, smelling the sweet shop...and seeing the castle. Then we head over to Buzz or SM!!! At this point DS and DS usually tell me they're starving (naturally--we've only been there 5 min) and hot! :grouphug:
