Inspire me. If I had a great idea, DH would go for it.
Right now he is making and cleaning up my favorite meal: sage chicken.
I would LOVE if he did anything romantic at all, candles, flowers, breakfast in bed, a nice dinner somewhere we don't normally get to go (he knows of a few places I would love to try but since my husband doesnt like anything upscale I'm afraid to try and have him hate)... any one of these would make me extremely happy.
If my dh was cooking to cook and clean for me that would be enoughHe wouldn't though so I can still wish for a gift. I would love this in red

I know I'm not getting it, if he's going to get me anything it will probably be a Pandora charm. I'm not holding my breath for that though.
Swear I'm not stalking you from the other thread!!! I want the same bag in saddle, or the mock ostrich finish in brown.
Last night I was complaining my running gloves were missing, and he offered to buy me a new pair for Valentines. What girl wouldn't love simple cotton gloves for a romantic holiday!!I may just go to the Dooney outlet after all!!!
I WISH my husband would make some effort on his own. It doesn't have to be much, but I don't want to have to order my own Valentine.
I agree with Suzanne any gesture or attempt would be wonderful. While I always say I am not the biggest fan of Valentine's Day but I would like to receive some reminder that I am loved by my husband. Christmas and Birthdays I always have to spell it out for him, or actually just purchase what I want. I just want one day where I don't have to hold his hand and show exactly what I want. Especially this year since he just came home from deployment it would be nice to have just a few moments of the day that was about just the two of us instead of our daughter, the dogs, the house, the bills, family, military, and everything else in the world but us.
I guess I will see what he comes up with, if anything. I really love receiving fresh flowers so I would be thrilled if he did that for me![]()
I've been married 12+ years, and I think this happens more on soap operas than in real life. I could be wrong... As far as my DH, he will get me flowers once in a while and we have gone to nice dinner before. But we are on ultra-save mode right now, so I asked him not to get me anything. I did pick up some Choxie at Target on the 90% off clearance at Xmas, so I guess we can give each other that. Good luck to all the ladies for a nice V-day!
