What do you wear to nice dinners?

Sorry if this has been posted several times--I went back several pages and couldn't find anything...

Just wondering how you dress to go to some of the nicer table service places, such as Coral Reef and Le Cellier? We've never dressed up for dinner but then again we've never gone to Le Cellier. Do people just wear shorts/t's like normal in the parks, or do you wear something nicer?

Park wear--shorts, t-shirts, etc. are the norm for LeCellier and Coral Reef. We do LeCellier every year and it's always been lunch (up until this year). We've been in our nice shorts and our Mickey t-shirts. The only places you really need to dress better is the signature restaurants.

No one really dresses up for the restaurants at the parks, because you are at a theme park. So really whatever you have on should be fine.

We try to dress a little nicer for the signature resutrnants at the resorts. Kakis and a nice shirt.

I know California Grill has a business casual dress code, but I still see people wearing jeans, t-shirts and hats.:sad2:

I agree with what has been posted. In the parks, people do not dress up for the restaurants, they just wear what they had on all day. I do know that Victoria & Albert's has a dress code. However, for Le Cellier, just wear what you have been that day at the parks.

Shorts and sneakers are fine for the restaurants in the parks. If we go to Narcoosee's, Cali Grill or Yachtsman, then I always dress up (dress or skirt for me, dress shirt for DH) because it is actually fun to me after a long day to take a shower and get dressed for dinner. My personal choice but I don't think any of the restaurants (except Victoria and Albert's) really are sticklers about it.

Just have fun, your on vacation!

Coral Reef and Le Cellier are park restaurants..we wear whatever shorts/tees and sneakers/sandals we have on when we enter the park.

If I'm in the parks already and can't go change, then I just wear whatever I have on, which is usually shorts. If I can go change, then I might put on a pair of capris and a "nicer shirt" (not just a Tshirt). I usually just wear flip flops.

unless it is a signature restaurant, we wear our park attire. Mind you, it is usually tshirts and shorts.

For signatures we do tend to change for dinner ::)

Awesome, thanks for all the answers! So nice to know I can pack lighter, lol! I specifically did not pick any signature dining places b/c when we go on vacation I am generally in casual mode, and then I got to wondering if we'd have to be dressy anyway.

Actually, given the dress code as it exists, park wear (t-shirts and shorts) is also fine for the Signature restaurants.
