Will Turner and Davy Jones are rumored to return. Elizabeth Swann is probably not (maybe a small part again?). Most of the cast wants back in. I want to see Angelica return if this is the last one with original characters.

I think they should base it on the Pirate Redd, preferably Karen Gillan but I think Margot Robie has been rumored as the lead - not necessarily Redd. It should be set in the same, consistent universe and not a reboot, with some of the minor characters making appearances and major ones perhaps only as cameos so as not to detract from the new leads. I'm not going to say I wouldn't watch another with Jack Sparrow, but I also think it's an opportune time to do something different.

At what point will the privilege of success no longer be measured by who you get away with either mistreating or sleeping with? There is some deeply disturbed stuff on display and it's not ok.

To be fair, I don’t think there has been a concrete story presented on both sides. I think what ever happened between him and his wife hasn’t fully come out in my opinion. I don’t pay attention to TMZ or tabloids so until the news presents all the facts I’ll hold my personal judgement. I do support the #me too movement however. No one should ever have to deal with harassment or abuse of any kind.

But she does look like her so that’s where I’m going with this. Who would you have replace her if it was necessary? Technically Disney has a back up actor for Jack Sparrow if they need his character in the movie. Recasting is not new in popular series.

Nothing. The series has been dead for a while now and instead of squeezing it for more money, they should use their creativity to move to new grounds.

But Disney and creativity... not exactly a golden combination the last 5-10 years ;-)
