"What do you want for Christmas?"

Jillpie...

Beauty and the Beast comes to the Colonial Theater 12/3/2002 through 1/4/2003. Tickets range from $23-$70 not including restorations fees and transaction fees. I checked out the seats about a month ago and there wasn't much left. Lots of nosebleed seats (and if you've ever been to the Colonial to see anything you know those seats may not cause true nosebleeds but you can get a mean case of vertigo even sitting down).

The same touring company is coming to Providence in April -- better theater seating wise for the cheap seats and lower prices. You might want to consider that. Although tickets for that are going fast as well because it's a shorter engagement.

I've been thinking, thinking, thinking and I can't think of a darn thing I want for Christmas. Peace would be nice. :D

This is a warm fuzzy.... First a quick explanation. My wife went back to work five years ago and everything she makes is saved for travel, or ? we are not rich people. we just live that way lol. the last few years we have traveled over the holidays, instead of buying a lot of gifts we don't need we take nice trips. OK then

We gave our DD'S 13-15 a choice.

We could go back to WDW as we have the last two years.

We could go to San Francisco, stay on the wharf and shop.

Or we could go to Sun Valley and stay at a nice lodge and ski.

This year it was their turn to decide. After much consideration they returned with the verdict of none of the above. They sat down at the dinner table with a list of things they would rather do. You can imagine our pride as our girls explained that this year instead of WDW or anything else they would like to help other families in need, single mothers top their list.
The excitment in our home is amazing and now we have been joined by other family members and friends as well. This X-Mas we will make others feel as good as are kids make us feel everyday. So as for what do I want for Christmas? I already got them.

To a princessemom, thank you for all that info! Bummer on the Boston show, I had a feeling that was the case, it always is. How DO all those people get those really good seats anyway?? I'm very interested in the Providence showing...do you know which theatre, do you buy online or in person? Wait a minute, we're going to DW in April! Well, if this is a xmas present I guess we'd have to go. I sure would love it.
PS. Your not going to believe this. I just was sitting here, wondering about this aloud and my DH went to the Colonial theatre site...then followed the production theatre to the Providence performing arts center...WE JUST BOUGHT THE TICKETS ONLINE!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc After doing a lengthy search for each day its there and looking at all the seat selections, we came up with a Tues. night, in the orchestra section, and it looks great! So thank you so much for the suggestion, I'm getting Beauty and the Beast tickets for Christmas! Thanks for this post and thanks to a Princessemom!!!:jester:

Same as last year. Disneyworld!! One of these days, I'll get it. ;)
