I use to use a fanny pack years ago, going back now with huband, 10 year old and 14 year old and trying to figure out what to carry my camera, etc in while I am in the park or water parks

Find a small backpack that has compartments for your ID, passes, credit cards, and money. Get one that holds at least one bottle of water a small camera and your phone. You don't want to have a lot of weight on you in the Florida sun. It also makes getting onto the rides a lot easier. No big bulky bag to mess with. Besides your kids sound like they are old enough to carry their own bag too. That's always a plus when the kids get old enough to help themselves. Have fun.

I bought THIS Kipling crossbody bag for the parks. It has 3 separate zipper compartments that have a ton of room. I usually carry a 16 oz water bottle, 3 oz contacts lens solution bottle , iPhone (in bulky Otterbox), Kipling tri-fold wallet and camera. It's a very lightweight nylon that seems to dry fast if it gets wet and the strap is very good quality.

Cargo shorts

Drat! You beat me to it! :thumbsup2

Cargo bermudas and cargo capris in my case. I can fit my phone, a small camera, a small piece of moleskin, a dollar tree rain coat (if we're going to be at AK), lip balm, my ID, KTTW card and Photopass card in my cargo bermudas/capris. Everything else I can get at the park or do without!

I use a small cross-body purse. Much more flattering than a fanny pack!

I use a small drawstring bag/backpack. It doesn't have a lot of compartments but it has worked great for us. Plus it is small enough to take on the rides.

I second the cross-body bag, there are so many different sizes that you can get to suit your need, and they are, again, also a lot cuter than a fanny pack!

I use a sling pack. Mine is green instead of olive

It fits a water bottle, my phone, wallet, epipen and extra pair of flip flops quite easily with extra space and it is light! Also this is a small bag, just a bit taller than my iPad and snug I terms of width.

This seems the perfect size for me! What brand is it, if you don't mind??

I was just there in the beginning of May with my DH, two seven year olds and a 3 year old birthday boy. My DH always wears a fanny pack but didn't have to since my new bag could handle everything we needed.... camera, video camera, passes, money, wipes, and random snacks.

I will never go to Disney or any other vacation spot without it! Loved it!!

I bought a mesh vest. Similar to a hunting vest or a photographer's vest. Lots of pockets to store things in and you don't have to carry it- you wear it. It would work best in the non summer months because it can be hot.

The fanny pack I bought years ago when we took the kids still works fine. I'm a lot bigger around the waist, too! Everyone carries their own stuff. I can wear it on my fanny, in front of me, or sling it over my shoulder. The water bottle hangs off of it with a carabiner.

I am taking my small Vera Bradley backpack. It's only going to be the hubby and I so we don't need anything large.

Fanny Pack.

Instant access, nothing hanging shoulder, dont have to make people behind me wait in line while I remove it to get on ride-obtain KTTW card-sunscreen-money-sharpie-etc, carries everything one should need for a day of fun at the park.

I discovered the Patagonia Atom sling pack last summer. Hands down the BEST park bag I have ever had! It is light and comfortable. It carries a lot more than it would appear but I never felt the weight of it. My baggallini had begun to rub my shoulder in the same place and it was not comfortable anymore. I didn't have a moments trouble with the atom bag. Highly highly recommend!!
