My family and I will be arriving at Disney World on Sunday 11-14 at approximately 1:00. Our original plan was to go directly to Epcot to explore the World Showcase, have dinner and stake out a spot to watch Illuminations. I just realized however that the 14th is the last day of the Food & Wine Festival, and that Epcot could potentially be very crowded. What do you think? Will it be REALLY crowded that evening? Should we maybe just explore our hotel and the Boardwalk (we're staying at thhe BWV) and then head to Downtown Disney for dinner and Disney Quest? There will be 7 of us - myself, my husband, our boys 2,4 and 7, and my in-laws, if that helps.

Thanks, Juli

The last day of F&W doesn't really bump the crowds all that much at Epcot. I'd stick with your original plan.

I'd go ahead and plan to do Epcot, but if the crowds concern you, you could just as well explore Futureworld at this time. It's delightful uncrowded after dinner! Some attractions, such as Spaceship Earth and Imagination (and I think Test Track and Mission Space???) are open until 9pm. I always enjoy that silly fountain show, with the lights and the music, and the general atmosphere here at night.

On the otherhand, it might be a nice opportunity to enjoy the Food and Wine. Perhaps there will be some terrific food bargains for vendors wanting to get rid of their stuff on the last night. Don't know for sure...
