I make it a personal policy to never book anything that has a credit card guarantee or cancellation policy for our arrival day. There are just too many things that can go wrong and cause a delay. It's bad enough to get to Disney World late -- worse still if being late costs you a fee for a missed reservation. Also, the stress of trying to get to California Grill on time will certainly take some of the enjoyment out of the experience of dining there.

I might have missed it but to make this reservation I don't think you can have any checked baggage. I think your only chance of making it is to have no checked baggage and have her pick you up curbside in a way to be able to head straight to the restaurant.

You did. she's driving only a carry on.

Probably true.But's it's our only chance to get there, and it's her favorite sushi anyehere.

Sounds like you REALLY want that reservation!

Two ideas:

1. Can you move it back to 9? That extra 20 minutes could help a lot

2. You'll know in time to give your DW a call when you land if you're flight is running late. If so, could you grab a cab to the Contemporary from the airport, and meet your DW at the restaurant? That way she's there to claim the reservation, and you can join her there as quickly as the cab can get you there?

The reservation is for 9:40 ,but you did give me an even better idea. She can meet me @ the Contemporary like you suggested and if my plane gets in on time Magical Express can take me straight to BLT. By Jove i think we have it
