Hi all,
I am new hear and have a question...We are trying to decide wether to stay four or five nights in Disney. If we cut our trip short by 1 day we can save almost $1000. We already have 3 days worth of hopper passes and 4 complimentary tickets, so we would only need to buy a one day pass for our 8 year old if we stay 4 nights. The price of the tickets go up a lot if we have to buy the extra day. Not to mention the cost of the hotel.
What do you think will we be disappointed if we cut the trip short???

If you have never been to Disney, you might be disappointed with the shorter trip. Maybe you can you schedule a resort day in the middle and stay the 5 nights? You could also spend some time at Downtown Disney on this day. The cost of the hotel would still apply, but the park tickets should save you some $$. My family always tries to schedule a resort/DDD day in the middle of the trip to relax.

I was going to suggest the resort day in the middle also. Take a day off, hit the pool, head downtown, ride the monorail, visit the BW, do lots of non-park free things

Disney is a go go go type of trip and SO much to see. A down day (sleep in too:thumbsup2) will help and be a nice break

Are the complimentary tickets ones that you can upgrade (timeshare=not upgradable; GAD=upgradable)? If yes, how about adding the WP&M option for $55/pp and then you'll have a day at a water park and you can also stop in at Disney Quest maybe after dinner at DTD. WP&M added onto a 1 day ticket gives you 2 admissions. This option is much cheaper than a second day on the 1 day tickets.
