This is our first year with the DDP. We are excited. We are sticking with some old favs and trying some new ones. Here's what I have reserved so far.
Give me any suggestions you may have. It will be me, My DH and My DS (who will be 5 by the time we arrive in WDW)

Chef Mickeys (first night tradition)
RainForest Cafe (AK location. New to us)
Sci Fi (Even with all the bad reviews..we still love this one)
LTT (reserved this for the night we are going to MVMCP did it 2 years ago before MNSSHP)
Cindy's Lunch - (new for us. I have ALWAYS wanted to eat in the castle!)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (new for us. Sounds fun)

I think that is all I have scheduled at this point. I tried to schedule the Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package..but it was booked??? on the day I wanted. I will regroup and try again for a different day.

I will Also be reserving Le Cellier (new to us also..) but I'm holding out for the CPP.

We will be eating a couple of nights in DTD. We have only eaten at PH there. Any suggestions for us to try something new?

If you really want to eat there,
I suggest you make your ADRs @ LeCellier asap.

I make my ADRs there when I book my vacation.
It is our first night tradition.
For the past 3 years, I was told by CMs that I booked with
that LC is one of the most popular restaraunts on-site.

Great choices! I happen to love Rainforest Cafe. The atmosphere is fun and the menu is so huge, it takes forever to decide what to get. Cindy's is a great choice, too. Especially since you have always wanted to eat in the castle. The food is not very impressive, but for a chance to eat in the castle, who cares. Whispering Canyon is a hoot! I like the food there a lot - kind of homestyle cooking. Great choices, IMO. Have fun!

Sci Fi is great...food is so-so, but the atmosphere is great.
We went to Whispering Canyon on our Honeymoon and it was good (food, atmosphere and service). Don't forget to ask for ketchup...it's the best thing on the menu

Suggestion:
We LOVE Earl of Sandwich in DTD. It is a counter service meal with the DDP. Their sandwiches are great and so are their desserts! My DH is already dreaming of their sandwiches! Give it a try!

We are going to Chef Mickey's for the first time on this trip and are looking forward to it. We tried to get Mama Melrose for the dinner package and ended up going with Hollywood and Vine instead...those things got quick!

Will I be able to change it to the Candlelight Processional package when it comes out? I guess I could always choose another resturant for it and go ahead and book. I don't want to miss Le Cellier.

Looks Good. We love LeCellier (that is our new family tradition since they changed the menu at CRT). At the Sci Fi DD and I love the Pasta w/ shrimp but we were disappointed that they had run out of cheesecake last year for dessert.
By the way I wanted to make sure you know that Rainforest Cafe is NOT on the DDP. But it is also one of our favorites (we don't have one here in St. Louis) we are planning on breakfast there one morning before AK.

Thanks for the rainforest Cafe info. I didn't think it was on the DDP. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. I have heard alot of bad reviews. (course that is true with every resturant) I just know my son will LOVE the theming.
