What do you think will the next big MK refurb?

I love Stitch the character the ride is horrible! Love to see something new there. I agree go beyond the railroad tracks!! Tom Sawyer is a complete waste of time

"Yesterdayland Gas Guzzlers" has to go, they're boring. I don't want them to put a "Tron rollercoaster" either, I'd rather see 2 or 3 new dark rides in this area. But I'd take anything, "Tron" has got be better than what they currently have.

I know it's a long shot, but I'm still praying for "Western River Expedition". Forget about World Peace and all that stuff, I'll take WRE. I'd get rid of the boring "Liberty Belle" and "Tom Sawyer's Island" and fill in The Rivers of America.

HERESY! Get rid of the Liberty Belle and TSI??? :headache::oops::worried:

I'm sorry, but they are not my cup of tea. Every time I give them a chance I always think why am I doing this? Plus the caves seem kinda dodgy, I keep expecting to see a creepy old man wearing just a trench coat and sneakers.

The biggest need in Tomorrowland is a rebuild of the creaky, jerky old Space Mountain. I *literally* fractured my neck on that ride. No more for me, thanks.

I got whiplash on Space last year. My family will continue to ride it but no more for me either :(

Exciting if this does get confirmed at D23, however I still feel the ride was better themed and suited for Epcot... It just fits more there. If you put Tron in MK you essentially have a futuristic coaster right next to a futuristic coaster. Could spell disaster long term for Space Mountain.

I don't think anything will spell disaster for one of WDW's classic coasters. It will always have a following.

I love Space Mountain... don't get me wrong... Just saying that if you put this right next to it it'll be like riding in a Tesla vs. Ford Pinto. Younger generations don't view things as "classic", they just look for what is exciting, bright and shiny.

You are missing the point. There are essentially 2 coasters in MK right now, Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain. Adding a 3rd coaster, in a park with annual attendance of 20MM, isn't going to lessen the popularity of the other 2. There is more than enough demand to drive all 3, or even 4 or 5, to standby waits of more than 45 minutes and to mostly run out the FPs at the most popular times of the day. MK isn't a coaster park, but people still love the thrill rides and that's not going to change for the existing 2 if you add 1 more. There is not enough capacity on the thrill rides to meet demand, and another coaster with 1000-1500 capacity per hour isn't going to change that. It will help of course, but it's not going to spell trouble for something already highly popular.

Let's throw Mine Train and Splash Mountain in there also for the hell of it. I completely agree that in terms of crowd capacity there is more than enough people to keep these rides busy. I would be curious to see statistics related to wait times pre and post the addition of Mine Train to the park and the effect it had in terms of wait times and total ride attendance for the other coasters.

What is a problem is that Space Mountain is quickly approaching 10yrs. since its last major refurb making it the oldest coaster attraction currently in the park since it was last significantly updated (2009 I believe). Hopefully we see some sort of announcement to remedy this before the parks 50th and before the rumored Tron Coaster shows up.

I agree, I don't like this. I'll be devastated if Space Mountain ever closes. For all the complaining about it being too rough, it still regularly has 2 hour waits. I'm generally not a huge fan of Disney's coasters, but I get off SM laughing every time.

I also like the speedway more than most, but agree it needs to go at some point with all the real estate it takes up. I just don't think this is the best idea.

I just don't buy this. I don't see WDW adding TWO coasters that close together, and the next two big rides both being coasters (GotG in UoE and Tron cycle in Speedway). I have heard from other insiders there were a couple to up to three options for Tron in Speedway, light cycle being one of them. My gut says it will be tron, but not the cycle coaster. Just me, I just don't see two coasters side by side. And I don't see WDW being Six Flags and putting nothing but coasters in. Just me.

Pretty obvious that Tomorrowland will be the next big change at WDW with the recent painting of the rocks and shutting down Stitch for "seasonal" use. (Though I don't understand shutting down an attraction (even a not so popular one) when no work is being done.

The Laugh Factory seems like it could be replaced by a different attraction/show and Buzz I feel is too popular to change .. though it could use some fixing up.

Tomorrowland Speedway probably could be changed/removed/updated as well. While a fun attractions for preschoolers, I don't see the draw in that date attraction for anyone older than that.

I agree with @tlmadden73 I think the next target is TL, I do think something Tronish goes to Speedway(not coaster though) and I think we will see more done in TL in the next 3 years.

Tomorrowland. Epcot wouldn't make sense so much for the 50th, I'm sure it'll be underway and possibly some might even be complete, but probably not the target to be the star of the 50th since the anniversary is for Magic Kingdom.

Would love to see some love giving to TL and think it needs it the most. Replace Laugh Floor and maybe Stitch (love him but the ride is jsut average and cuold be better). Could put a dark ride where the theatre used to be between Buzz Lightyear and Carousel of Progress. Then remove the Speedway and add eithe the rumored Tron coaster or even a couple attractions in a new building.

Same here! I'm not the lawsuit kind, but I can't believe they still let that thing go without improving it. Surely they've been sued repeatedly.
