In 100 years the world will be so different.
Malls will be replaced by housing and online retailers will be king. Most restaurants will be delivery only. People will travel less, movie theaters will be gone, family vacation destinations will be either closed or over run by criminals. The world we live in now punishes people for enforcing rules. We quit going to the movies due to the fact you cannot enjoy the movie any more. People talk on their phones or just talk among them selves. Theme parks have line cutting, fights and disrespect towards workers. Since no one is willing to step up and stop it, it will only get worse. Everyone is so afraid to "offend" someone, we all just keep our mouths shut and let others ruin everything. In 100 years, if we stay on track, it will be a world of homebodies afraid to interact with the public.

I will be looking forward to my 175th Birthday. Hopefully by then I will have forgotten the first 75 years. There were very few high spots.

I don't recall to many theater shootings, however, attending first grade seems to be a tad dangerous. We are such a disgrace.

The main one everyone thinks about is the Aurora, CO one.

But there are a bunch. Many are over arguments that happen in the theater - like one in FL over someone using a cell phone, and one in NC over seating assignments. One early this year in PA, one in the past couple years in CA. Some happen in parking lots rather in the actual theater.

It just creeps me out a little sitting in a dark theater, wondering if someone behind me is getting ready to start blasting away. I'll go to the theater on the Disney cruise ships though, those are probably more safe.
