What do you think will be the hot toy for Christmas this year?

Karissa seems to be getting excited about the new line of Blues Clues stuff with Joe in it.

What do you think will be the hot toy this year or what are your kids begging for allready?

I don't know what toy will be but I do think the Lord of the Rings DVD collector sets may be hot.

I think the Nimbus 2000 Broom from Harry Potter is going to be all the rage.....

I think the Aloha Stitch interactive toy will be this year's Babbling Boo.

I have correctly picked out hot toys in the past. I was a cast member at TDS during the infamous "Where's Buzz?" snafu of the Christmas season, 1995.

Unless of course, the manufacturer of the Aloha Stitch actually made enough of them this year. LOL!

So far, my 6 year-old boy wants Yu-Gi-Oh action figures and a board game with a plastic talking skull and bones (I forget what it's called).

Blue Clues items and all Nick Jr toys-Movie will be Harry Potter and Lilo & Stitch. And Maybe the Chicken Dance Elmo- He is cute but boy does he get on my nerves.

I too ahve heard rumors that the Chicken Dance Elmo will be big . I was playing with one yesterday at Toys R Us & it is pretty cute!
My DS6 is into the Yu-Gi-Oh cards and toys too. I have the hardest time remembering the name of them though. Yesterday I asked the guy at the book store if he had any of the Oogly cards. He chuckled but he knew what I meant

LOL!!!! Just saw the "dancing Dora" dolls on tv this morning!! DS and I were ROFL!!! We decided they look like they have ants in their pants....and the ants are biting!!!

I predict the new American Girl doll will be huge this Christmas. She is American Indian and has 2 HORSES!!! I thought my dd was going to pop when she saw her!! (Psssst....can you keep a secret? She is already stashed in my gift closet along with both horses!! Hee hee!) I predict an early sell out on this one!

I think that game systems like Gamecube and Playstation 2 and their games will be hot again. DS is begging for the Playstation 2 and I'm thinking of getting it even though we already have a Gamecube. And Zelda will be out and that one will likely take off.

All I hear is Playstation 2 out of my older one's mouth. I think I may have to break down and get one, even though he already has Playstation 1 (that one is outdated, Mom!!!)

My little boy is obsessed, completely obsessed, with anything having to do with skeletons, haunted houses, etc. When we were at the beach this summer, he went on a haunted house and now he spends hours playing his own makeshift "Haunted House". This consists of a skull and a skeleton decoration we have here for Halloween, a blanket, and two chairs. LOL. Got to find something haunted for him for Christmas, for sure.

My kids never seem to play with the "hot" toys. I don't know if thats good or bad.

Kingdom Hearts will be big...I'm sure of it! It's touted as Final Fantasy meets Disney.

DD's birthday is in November and she has all ready started asking for Playstation2 games. Picked up Kingdom Hearts all ready and she loves it. Couldn't keep it hidden. She also wants books and DVD's.
