What do you think was the ugliest car ever made ?

Nissan Juke comes to mind first.

Gotta google the other thing... my neighbor had one back in the day, some kind of Pontiac minivan. Found it the “Trans Sport”. A new standard in ugly.

I loved the Pacer! I was too young to drive at the time, but always thought that someday I'd have one. They were discontinued before I ever got the chance to drive one.
Ugliest car? I'd say those Scion's. They look like a box! Also didn't like the Aztec.

My friend's older brother had one and would drive us around. We weren't good enough for the seats, so we would sit in the trunk.....yup, safely in the back with no seatbelts. I thought he and his friends were "so cool!" And he would loudly play "My Sharona" in that car.

I am sure the car was already 8-10 years old when her brother got it.

WOW, you have brought back some memories!

In the early eighties I had a Nissan Pulsar. That car car was ugly with a capital U.
Today, i go with any version of the Smart car.

I think PT Cruisers are ugly.

My DD calls them "PT Loser" I'm not a car guy so I don't have much of an opinion one way or the other. My first car was a Gremlin, it was blue and had air conditioning and an AM radio. I felt I was lucky getting a brand new car as a first car so I didn't complain.:car: It was pretty ugly.:)

We had one, we called it an egg. :drive:

Oh nooooo, I had a crème colored PT Cruiser Limited GT 230 horsepower SRT turbo engine with tan heated leather suede seats, all the bells and whistles, a really pretty little car. Put on nicer chrome wheels also, and actually got a lot of compliments on it hehe. Really roomy and comfortable inside. And it was a quick little car, would smoke the tires and I would toast people on the road, literally, no one expected how fast that car was. Loved it and really miss it.

My first car when I learned to drive in 1978. The old family car, a dark green 1967 Plymouth Valiant. I was embarrassed to be seen in it.

In the earlier 70's, I WANTED a Gremlin when I was old enough to drive. I thought it looked cool.

My father's business had an El Camino for smaller deliveries. I drove it a few times.

The valiant, ugly as it was was actually good car.

Yeah, I do have to admit it ran well for an 11 year old car. I kept it for about 18 months until something went wrong with the transmission that wasn't worth the cost to repair.

But it didn't have air conditioning or power windows or power anything, all necessary items for a young lady of my stature. :snooty:;)

I inherited a red and white Ford Maverick from my mother when I went to college . That was pretty darn ugly (and had a Marriage Encounter sticker in the back window!)

I think my parents regularly bought ugly cars because they were cheaper. Before that one they had a Ford Gran Torino station wagon that was gold.

Volkswagen Thing. I wanted one so badly as a teen just because it was so ugly. I ended up with a Pinto, so just as ugly and even more dangerous.
