what do you think dcl should change about them selves

This is a strange one, I know.....but very important to me when I am on the Magic in their "new" gym......let us ride the LeMond spin bikes anytime we want! They currently only let you ride them during classes when an instructor is there! Lame! I ride those back at home everyday and know what I am doing! ;) DCL, PLEASE LISTEN! :wave2:

i would have them build another ship, face it 2 isnt enough.
lets look at next summer when the magic is going to be in europe, what you have left is a 3 and 4 night cruise. it will be nice to have 2 ships that will be around port canerval like they have now most of the time, while 1 ship is off to other places like europe, hawaii, etc.

I would have to agree with another ship. I'd love to have one here in Southern California.

Also, cheaper prizes! :cool1:

I have never actually been on a Disney Cruise before, so I can't comment on what I would want them to change in regards of the actual cruise experience!

Change the entertainers! We have seen the exact same show from Michael Harrison and Rich Purpura on all four cruises! If you don't change soon, we will NOT be back!

Well, I feel bad for writing this, but it was really the only disappointment regarding my recent cruise: I could not understand many of the CM's on board. I felt bad asking them to repeat themselves over & over, but I swear there were times when I had absolutely no clue what they were trying to say to me. I'm sure the CM's get just as frustrated because it's clear they are trying really hard to communicate with guests.

It's not the CM's fault...but I found myself wishing that Disney made sure that all of the CM's that deal directly with guests had a reasonable ability to communicate with guests.

Our server was great, but I really could only understand a small percentage of what he said to us. It made meals frustrating and embarassing for all of us. :guilty:

Shorter dinners :confused3

I would agree! Don't get me wrong- the dinners were great, but they took up too much of our time that we could be doing other things.

Repeat cruisers should get reliable incentives.
The incentives should increase with the number of past cruises.
Castaway Cay needs more hammocks.
The evenings are too tightly scheduled. Rather than shorter dinners, loosen up the schedule.

Don't get me wrong, I love Disney cruisin' and wouldn't go anywhere else. But, you did ask.

Sorter dinners sounds great! :thumbsup2

More ships so they can travel ALL over the place! Really want Hawaii and Alaska! :confused3

NOT SO EXPENSIVE  ...i do understand it is "Disney" and you are paying for the name and outstanding service! I think I would stay on that ship 365 days a year if we could! :cloud9:

Larger pool for the kids. Existing kids pool(s) are an embarrassment for a cruise line that caters to families with young children.

That's what early seating is for. Those of us the prefer a less hectic meal choose late seating.

As for changes

1) Set asside some hours everyday in the gym for those under age 18, it IS a family cruise.

2) Move the Late Seating shows to AFTER dinner, not before, or at least add a third 11 pm performance for those who prefer the shows after dinner AND those who went to an earlier performance and want to see the show a second time.

3) (don't flame me) Put in place a system for getting off the ship the last day, Disney was my 7th cruise, the cattle call, everyone trying to get off the ship at the same time system is the worst I have ever experienced.

Expand the room service menu to have more than just snack bar type food.

Midnight buffet

And .... Drum roll .....

Thrill rides..... Yes you heard me right .. Imagine A roller coaster the starts at the top of the aft funnel that follows a gentle slope over the kid's pool rising again to almost a full stop just before it plunges vertically over the port side and at the bottom of the drop cork screwing inverted a dozen feet above the water and into a tight high G turn around the arc of the stern rising again to the top deck and a second plunge to the water ending with a loop and return to the funnel.

Now imagine the same ride, at night in the dark.

A clever designer could come up with some other ideas I'm sure. Maybe bungee jumping from a bow sprit? Para-sailing off the fan deck?

I enjoyed trap shooting on a previous cruise.

I wish they had a viewing platform in the engine room or engine room tours.

That's easy. Add a casino!

One of the reasons I have choosen for DCL is NO CASINO, so please do not add a casino on board!!!

I like to see that Disney add more ships to his fleet, but I think they will wait for a while due to the €uro.

Give us the leeway of booking all our excusions, spa stuff and Palo dining earlier than what we can book at now and give us exact information of when all the dinners are so we can book around them easier instead of playing guessing games!

I would like to see new itineraries in the Caribbean,(love the Mediterranean options, just can't sail that time of year) new entertainment,(ex: really enjoy Ben and Dana at Promenade, but after 5 cruises.... ) leisure dining and I really miss Dueling Pianos...bring back Fidelio! And please no casinos! :thumbsup2

This intent of this thread is not for debate. Everyone should be able to post what they would like to see added to DCL without being criticised. :wave2:
