...the first week of march. who has gone. What are the crowds like. Is there anything that I need to be aware of. We are planning a trip for the 1-6 and we are really looking forward to it being a little cooler. Any tips or tricks would be great

:cool1: :thumbsup2

We went the first week of March 2003 and the crowds were med-low and the weather was perfect - just shorts and tees needed the whole time. When we went the third week of March a few years earlier, it was quite chilly a few nights and sweatshirts and long pants were called for.

You are lucky. We would loooove to go the first week of March, but because of school we can't. We've gone that week before and loved it.

We went the end of feb 25th through March 4th this year and there were a few of the cheerleader crowds still there, but during the week it was great, however both weekends were very crowded as the ESPN thing started at MGM. But it was still managable and not as bad as summer. :sunny:

And it was hot, I took light weight long sleeve tops and it was extremely warm.

my family went the first week in march..... the 4th - 10th.... the weather was beautiful!! it didnt even rain not once.... the temp was in the mid 70's and a sweatshirt was needed at night....it was my first trip and definatly not my last....

We went and there was a huge cheerleading competition we couldnt do anything in MGM for a few days. The other parks were pretty crowded also but not as bad as Easter week.
