What do you think of this?

she has the emotional maturity of a 5 year old.

:rotfl:

I say that sums it up!

I have a friend like this. I plan a vacation, she has to plan the same one but with something extra involved. My DD gets involved with something new, her's has to also. We get new furniture or anything for the house...you get the picture. ....and on and on. Old old old really quickly.

Because she's weird................really, very weird..............

Hey she might have gotten her van FIRST...but "our Lord works in mysterious ways"....(I say this all the time and I am not overly religious).....

You will find out (sooner than later) and I am sure NOT by her.....

She got a LEMON ::yes::

Call her up, OP, and ask her if she wants a glass of LEMONAIDE... :lmao:

My husband and I were in the process of building our house and my sil went out and bought a house that had to be built. Ok no problem but she doesn't like it here. So I pick out the tile, carpeting and appliances.

We moved in to our home in August......forward to December when she moved in to her house. Her appliances, tile and carpet are extremely close to ours. If her bulider offered the same brand, shed have them in her kitchen.

I walked out of her house looked at my husband and asked if I was dreaming or did she copy EVERYTHING she could.
He said thats just the way she is.

Tell her you are moving across country and buying a bigger house. Maybe she will move. ;)

She envies you in her own petty way and feels if she "ups" you she's acheived something significant!

I like the one post about how you should tell her how you waited for the best deal....OMG that would really bite her butt to know not only do you have the same van but you got yours for a way better price, you would think that would knock her off her pedestal for a while!

So... next time you plan to get something... feed her misinformation. :rotfl2:
I've done this!! :lmao:
My sister and neice are like this(and honestly I do love them and their weirdness, its just really aggravating when people do this!)...
Every year at Christmas my 4 kids would say what they would like and my niece(only child) would want it all plus it had to be a better one than what my kids were getting. So DS would rush out and buy it all plus all the accessories/variations/ colors that may be available of the same thing just to have it better!
The one year I told my neice, "All our kids want is a karaoke machine with country music"(BTW we're not country music fans so this should have struck her as odd but when greed gets in the way.....)
Well, what do you know she starts telling everyone that the only thing she is really wants is a big fancy karaoke machine for Christmas! :rotfl2:
I couldn't have this happen so I ended up 'fessing to her that I was kidding! Poor thing, ended up getting the usual 100 presents instead of just one! At least I didn't have to live with the guilt of lying to her (or sound of country music all Christmas day!)

Ahh - a classic case of the "must steal her thunder" syndrome. Very rare and only seen in people who have, as a pp stated, the maturity level of a 5yr old.

Are you describing my step-sister/"friend"? Glad to know she is doing it to someone else. Seriously - we bought a house...she had to buy a house...we had a kid...she whined and begged and finally tricked her DH into having a kid...we bought a new SUV...she and her poor "whipped" hubby went car shopping.

Ack - don't you just LOVE people like this??? I hate telling people what to do, but the next time she brags you should tell her where to park that new van of hers... :rotfl:

(oops, I just realized my last comment puts me in the "maturity level of a 5yr old...hmmm, now whose thunder can I steal???)
