What Do You Think of this Disney Tattoo Idea?

I am thinking of getting a tattoo of the Walt and Mickey statue that is in front of the castle. I would get it on my right bicep. I am a little concerned that this would be considered.........not manly. To the men out there, and the women, what do you think????

I wouldn't think a tattoo like that was unmanly, unless you had lipstick on, too!

Seriously, it'll get lots of attention, and inspire a lot of closet male Disney-lovers.

The whole thing about a tattoo is that it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks - it's something that has meaning to YOU and nobody else. If you like it and it means something to you, who cares what it is? It could be hearts and butterflies under a rainbow, but if it had some special meaning to you, it shouldn't matter what anyone thinks.

But if you are thinking that you are going to care if people think it is feminine or not masculine, it's a sign that maybe you're not really ready for it in the first place. You have to want it 100% no matter what anyone says or thinks about it, because it's YOURS and is for LIFE.

If you want it, get it! But if you think comments might bother you, I'd say skip it.

Ok, I'll be honest. I'd think it was weird. But, then again, I don't care for tatoos.

I've got Tinkerbell on my back and I love. I say go for it.

OK, I'll be honest. I think tatoos on a guy are hot. However......I don't think a Mickey Mouse tatoo would be "hot". More like, "cute". But not "hot".

Ummm, it's a man and a mouse holding hands. Are you man enough?

I love tattoo's - I say go for it!

Man-shmanly! Its about the guy wearing it.

If you want it get it but make sure it is something you really want like another poster said it is for life. I personally would never get a tattoo. Number 1 NEEDLES PAIN NO THANK YOU! :lmao: I'm a wuss I know. Number 2 I'm 42 have went this long in my life without one so I don't think I need one now. :rotfl: Not against them at all just not for me.

I say go for it! I love tattoos and will soon be getting my two mickey and minnie tattoos on my wrists.

I love tattoos, and love to get inked, I have quite a few. Dh has quite a few as well and I think they are all hot..........but my fav one of his, is the one he has of grumpy on his upper arm. It fits him to a tee....he always has this pi**ed off look on his face, and yet he is always in a good mood. You just wouldn't know it, and everyone is always asking him why he is so grumpy all the time.....I say if you want it, then get it. If you talk to your artist he might be able to come up with a few ways to make it more masculine if you feel the need.

That just brought so many images to mind...Walt with a beer in his free hand, Mickey with a beard......

Remember -- you're doing this for you and nobody else. If it's what you want (for the rest of your life, I might add), then go for it. Who cares what other people think!!!

As a female, I am turned off by visible tatts on a guy, Disney or otherwise. Sorry, that's just me. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't get your tatt! If it makes you happy, go for it.

I just got my 2nd tat last Monday. My 1st one was Sorcerer Mickey on my back. I knwo how detailed the one you want is. Do remember that tats with a lot of detail look better when they are bigger. Over time the black outlining will start to blend in with itself and not look so good. The bigger it is the less chance of the detailing running together. My MM was a 2x2 image that was enlarged to about 5x6 so the detail could be more visible. Small ones are good for stars, hearts, etc. but for something large and detailed like Walt and MM I would tend to go bigger. Maybe a back piece?

MY DH has Spiderman on one arm and the Green Goblin and Pumpkin Bomb on the other. It's all about what you like and not caring about what other people think, say, etc. I love that statue and personally i can see that tattoo more on a man than a woman.

Well, I'm trying to picture what I would think of it if you were standing in front of me in line at the grocery store. I think I would like it! I'd think you were a huge Disney fan, enough for you to have gotten a big tatoo for the world to see. I might even strike up a conversation about it.

If you're worried about it, maybe pick a less noticeable spot on your body?
