I'm a backpack girl. Last time we went, I found a great bag at Wal-Mart that held everything. (yes, I looked like a pack mule, but it was worth it to be able to carry everyhting for me, dh and 4 kids.) I liked the drawstring top, so we could stuff jackets, etc. in without unzipping. But I'm unable to find anything like that again this time, so I've resorted to online shopping.

I will have a lanyard with a pouch for tickets, fastpasses, etc.

All opinions are greatly appreciated!!!!!

I think it costs too much for what it is. The bag itself i'm sure is fine, but I would scour every department store looking for a similiar one for less.
but thats me, always looking for a deal:thumbsup2

We picked up one of those slim drawstring backpacks (that have the 4 strings for straps) at downtown Disney. It looks cheap an promotional but it was about $10 but it had the Mickey and other characters on it. It was great it was small enough that the kids took turns wearing it.

Target has a Princess one on Clearance:
I cant post a link because I only have 4 posts but here is the text to the link...

i think it looks like a great backpack so i just ordered one

got 20% off and free shipping with promo code columbus2008

I did the same! I found the 20% off, and thought I'd give it a try. There's free return shipping, too, if it's not what I'll need.

Let me know what you think when you get yours!!

Mine came yesterday. I think I'm going to like it! It looks big enough, and it has the drawstring that I was wanting. I still wish it had more pockets for organizing, but I knew that it didn't before I bought it. My only complaint is with the straps. They are pretty narrow for the weight that'll probably be in it. Any suggestions for strap pads?? I'm afraid they'll cut into my shoulders after a whole week.

Last year we said we were not going to carry any back packs because we did not want to go through the bag line :scared1:,we had did that In previous years and my DS hated it . Well that was the last time I did that, this spring we are going to have a pack for each of us and a shoulder bag for my self!,ya its going to be a hassel were going have to rent two lockers but to have the conveince of haveing things with out going back to the room is a real time saver. Having the shoulder bag to walk around is a must, you can carry just about everything that you might need right at that moment.Let the people with out laugh, there going to any way but when they get soaked durning a mid day storm there the ones that will be heading out and we will just have to change in the restroom. So Pack on:cool1: :laundy:

I have to quit looking at all this stuff. I just ordered one for myself. It looks like it'll be great.

I used the save10 code and saved 10.00 off. :woohoo:

I got basic Khaki. I figure DH would be fine with carrying it if he has to in March.

I really liked the purple too though.

I considered that, too. But I figured I'd rather carry a bag than our 4 year old, so I'll leave him to DH :rotfl:

Have a great trip in March!!!
