We want to go to several character meals when we take our son to WDW for the first time. The three we're thinking of are:

Crystal Palace for lunch or dinner in MK
Storybook Princess Breakfast at Epcot
Donald's Breakfastorsauras in Animal Kingdom

I really want to take him to the princess breakfast so all the princesses can give him great big kisses and I can take cute pictures! Don't you think that will be adorable to have lipstick marks on his face? Well, I do! And he loves Pooh, so I'm sure Crystal Palace will be a winner and I've heard such rave reviews about Donald's that I'm curious to give it a try.

Any other suggestions? Thank you!!!!!!!

I think they all sound fine, but don't be too upset, if your child becomes upset by the "huge" characters. He is used to seeing characters on TV, or his stuffed animals, which are small and non threatening... remember, some of these character are 6 feet tall! You may want to try introducing him to the characters in the park from a distance before going to a breakfast, where if he is frightened, you have plunked down a chunk of change. Also, most little ones do best with the face characters first.

Hope everything goes well for you!

Hi there...

My DD8 and I had breakfast at the Princess Storybook in EPCOT... there was a family at the next table with a baby boy, maybe 9 months old.

All the princesses kept kissing him and by the end of the meal he had these wonderful lipstick marks all over his head,... it was adorable.

They wear the brightest lipstick!

That's exactly what I"m hoping for!!!!! :)

When DS was 14 months old we character meals at:
*Donalds
*Chef Mickey's
*Hollywood & Vine
*Crystal Palace
*Liberty Tree Tavern.

DS loved them all. We did the character test in one of the parks before the 1st meal. He actually became sort of immune to them & unimpressed by the last meal (I'll admit I booked one too many LOL).

We just returned, now DS is 2yo, this time we only did 3 character meals!
