The Swan is my favorite. The transportation is the best, the rooms are nice and the pool is outstanding. We have been there twice and am hopeful to return soon. There are 2 threads all about there resorts at the top of the page. Enjoy your vacation.

We've stayed at the Dolphin for our last two trips (December 2001 and August 2002). We LOVED it both times! The Dolphin is a great resort. Our room was always perfect. And the location is one of the best, IMO. The pool is WONDERFUL! For our next trip, we're staying at POR and AKL because we're ready for a change. But we would definately stay at the Dolphin again. :)

Sorry but DW and I have stayed there three times and have never really bee impressed (twice at Swan, once at Dolphin). Last time we were there they gave us a room that overlooked the roof of one of the wings, the balcony was bricks for the lower half then you had the roof and this was $190 per night. Had to pay for an upgrade and it took one hour for bell services to come move us. We also miss the Disney touch that you get at the other resort hotels. The best thing I can say is that after our last stay we purchased into DVC.:)

This will be one of those threads where you will find differing opinions!

Now for us- the Swan is A#1!!!!

(I think the Dolphin is too big for my comfort)

Swan is 'small' enough to still feel comfy.
Both are:
Close to boat landings
Walkable to MGM & Epcot
SOOOO close to boardwalk
Buses run so frequently
Rooms were clean & well maintained
Turn-down service nightly
Wonderful continental Breakfast-fruit/yogurt/muffins/toast/bagels/juices/coffee (flavors to add too!)/etc. - cookies & cheese/crackers etc in the evening along with sodas, water etc. (Club Level rooms).
At the Swan MamaT will give you chilled water to take to parks - just ask.
Parking at Swan is so close-we parked ourselves - didn't pay for parking.
Walked quickly over to dolphin for pizza at Tubbi's, laundry, mug refills.
Walking distance to Mini-golf
We didn't wait for anything-I went to park the car and sent kids in with the luggage-they had them up to the room and they were watching TV before i was even upstairs!

I don't know-it is just top of the line in my book.

Stayed at the Swan this past June. Location is nice, transportation was good, the grounds are BEAUTIFUL! Pool is very nice. The Swan/Dolphin complex as a whole is very elegant. On the flip side, the hallways in the Swan are garish, IMO.

Is this my favorite resort? No, I prefer Coronado Springs. Would I stay here again? Yes, although I think I would like to try the Dolphin.
