I just have to add one I saw tonight....
Down the road these people have alot of those white statue things - the lions at the end of the drive, and in the middle of their front yard a big white naked person in a fountain - I really hate that stuff.....well....
Now the naked white person is draped in red cloth with a santa hat on . They have enough lights for the neighborhood in every possible colour. They have red spotlights all around the fountian/statue and it has lit up this big red statue in the middle of the lawn - it looks so funny!!!!! I will try and get a digital photo of this and post it tommorrow!!!

Lol Tina I have those big multi color lights on my house right now.

This evening after eating out my DH, DD and myself decided to drive around and look at Christmas lights.

I need to change my reply from earlier. I still don't like all solid white or blue. But the iclcles white lights are nice if mixed with colored lights elsewhere (like the bushes or trees)

But the tackiest we seen tonight was an old wood dumpy house, (and I am talking about an old should be condemned type dump) with multi colored lights (small ones like one would use for a tree) string around the roof but completely uneven and half the lights not lit.
The lights looked as dumpy as the house. It was really tacky.

We seen quite a few lights that was not strung on evenly looked to be just thrown on the roof (thought this was really tacky)

There is a house in our neighborhood that has a couple of dozen four foot tall alien figures that have a light inside them. During christmas, they have some of these guys on their lawn with Santa hats.
