Hello again.

We have decided we are going to eat at Crystal Palace, before we were only going to eat there IF we could not get into CRT.

So I am wondering how hard it is to get into CP? And what is better breakfast, lunch or dinner?

I get to start calling for CRT in about 2 weeks and I am thinking if that first day I call is already booked maybe I should get a PS for CP that day instead?

We were thinking the day we DO get into CRT (positive thinking) we will do a late lunch or early dinner at CP. But I was thinking if we don't get into CRT at all then at least I will have a PS for CP from that first day I called.

If I do get into CRT I was thinking of cancelling the first Cystal Palace PS & make another one on the same day as CRT. Has anyone done two character meals in one day? Is it too much food?

Or could I just wait until I can see if we get into CRT & if we don't go back and make a PS for Crystal Palace? Does it fill up fast? We are going in June & are a party of 5.

THANKS!

Unless you space it out (breakfast and dinner), it will be too much!

If you don't get Cindy's, then try for CP. We always ask for earliest seating, so we are done before the park opens. For CRT, take anytime. If you get CRT, do CP for dinner.

Well, I followed your plan when I was going for CRT. I did not get in on our first and most wanted day. I went ahead and chose an early lunch ( my girls thought the ice cream bar sounded cool) at CP for that day thinking we may want to take a break early afternoon at the hotel. With the probable short hours, there won't be any break, but the girls will enjoy Pooh so I'm keeping that on our schedule. We got into CRT on our second day. It happens to be our epcot day, so we'll also be doing a big dinner that evening. Oh well, we can waddle around I guess! I'm really looking forward to that first day character meal even though it isn't with Cinderella as I had hoped. Good luck with your early morning phone calls!!

We like CP better but that is because DS likes Winnie and especially Tigger and I (DH) have always felt sad for Eeyore.

So characters are how we make the CRT/CP decision

Thanks
Jason

Crystal Palace breakfast is our favorite meal in all of WDW. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and the best character interaction at Disney. You will definitely not be disappointed. We eat there at least 2, sometimes 3 times during our vacations.

We also did CRT and hated it. We will not be going back... and no, this is not an April Fools joke. I know I am in the minority but we would not go back if they paid us. :o

I've dined at both and have enjoyed both. I would try for an EARLY (11:30am) PS at CRT. This seems much less crowded than at noon. I would do CP on another day and would recommend lunch, since it is less expensive. If you need to do both on the same day, I would do CRT @ 11:30am, then have dinner at CP @ 7:00pm or so (depending on when the park closes).

On my last trip the CP was closed for renovations, but I did get to dine at CRT for lunch and it was fantastic!!! The food was excellent and so was the service. My PS was at 11:30am and this was perfect. MUCH less crowded than at other times. This is a must for me (as well as the CP) when I go to the Magic Kingdom.

It is not hard at all to get PS at the Crystal Palace...when compared to CRT...you should not have any problem, it seats a lot of people over several seating. I would vote for Lunch at crystal palace and not on the day that you get CRT...toooooo much food!.. Lunch over dinner at the Crystal palace is also my vote. I would make your CP ressies now and then cancel and change if it conflicts with your CRT breakfast

Hi there..

We did the breakfast with Pooh & his friends and it was very special. Such a sunny cheerful place to eat and the food had more variety then I imagined.

About CTR.. I am assuming the big draw is to see the princesses? f you cannot get CRT then how about the Princess Storybook Breakfast at EPCOT... I thought this was just as nice for food & service as CRT... but of course it is special to see cinderella in her castle.

You might also try the dinner at the Grand Floridian that features Cinderella.

Good Luck!

Thanks everyone.

I think we will try to make the PS for CP on a different day then CRT, that is IF we get in.
I just don't want to stuff ourselves so we can't move! :p

Cass---

We do already have PSs for the Princess Breakfast in Norway & for the Cinderella Dinner at the GF. But I think it would be really neat to eat in the castle.
We have never been to Disney so we want to experience everything, or as much as we can.

We will be there for 13 days, we will have a total of 6 character meals (if we get into CRT)
