I love my Old Navy flip flops!!! :thumbsup2 They are so comfy too me and it does not matter if they get wet. :cool1:

Do any of you hit the parks in Flip flops...I just hate wearing socks and tenny shoes....

My DD also loves her flip flops....We are taking several pairs for our up coming trip in 26 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!

I know it will be HOT! :sunny:

Last year that is all I wore to the parks. I have several very comfy flip flops. I was more comfortable with them than if I would have worn sneakers.

I love wearing my flip flops in the park. I find flip flops are more comfortable than tennis shoes! If you wear them all the time and love them then go for it! Have a great trip!!

My dd 15 loves her flip flops in the park

I always wore tennins shoes and socks to the parks. Then on our last trip I put on flip-flops to go on Kali, about 3 ours later I realized I still had them on. I ended up wearing them the rest of the day. The next day I started out in shoes but changed after about 3 hours.

I was very surprised at how comfortable they were. Mine are from Old Navy also. :)

I can not wear a flip-flop ever they hurt. I bought DD11 Crocs Flip-flop it seems okay. I made her walk the mile in them to make sure they would be alright for WDW.

My DD (14) wore her flip flops to the park last year. Let me tell you, I was DEAD SET against it. We went out and bought her a nice "flip flop" style sandal with a very good sole on it. She wore them and they killed her feet so bad we had to stop in a store at MGM and buy her a pair of park sandals that were comfy (but dorky in her words). The next day she wore her flip flops to the park and was happy as could be the rest of the week. I was out quite a bit of money trying to buy her the "right" sandal.

I only wear flip flops to the parks :thumbsup2

I have never had any problems with rubbing etc, I find them more comfortable than any other shoes in the summer :cool1:

The only thing is there are some rides you may have to take them off and hold for (ie rollercoasters where your legs hang) but I can't think of any off hand in the Disney parks :sunny:

I have to laugh. There is someone out there just like me. I wear flip flops in the winter (with snow). They don't make blisters! I have worn mine too and they are more comfortable to wear around the parks than sweaty shoes. Have fun!

I find flip flops more comfy than sneakers. My feet get hot, achy and sweaty. They need to breath.

Doesn't matter if I run a marathon, a half-marathon--or just do a stint at DTD--so I only wear sneakers for running and the rest of the time it is flip flops. I'm enjoying 2 pairs of skechers right now. My Old Navy flip flops are the fancy ones that I would be concerned about being enough for my feet in the parks. BUt I have flat feet, overpronate and have possible plantar fascitisis. My feet do not liek any extra support except when running---my feet are flat and they like it that way!

So wear your flip flops and enjoy them!

I always wear flip flops to the parks when it is hot. I have Teva flip flops in lots of colors. Just paint those toes and go! :thumbsup2

I will have plenty of flip flops with me in all colors!!!!

Old Navy's are 2 for $5!!! How can you go wrong???? :cloud9:

Thanks guys!

I would, if there was no such things as blisters.. :rotfl:

Oh I wish I could! I'm envious when I see lots of people at WDW in comfy flip flops while I an in my socks and shoes - lol. I just haven't found the right pair of flip flops yet for me - I may have to try some from Old Navy :cool1:

I love, love, love my Teva Mush flip flops and wear them all summer long here. Last year I wore them to Epcot on our first day and thought I would be fine since we were only spending a half day there. By the end of the day, I started to develop a hot spot on my little toe and my calfs were killing me from walking so much in them. After that day, I switched to my Teva walking sandals that have much more support.

Provided it is at least 60 degrees, I am usually found in my Mickey flip flops or my Tevas. So, yep, I wear flip flops at the park. Honestly they are far more comfortable than tennis shoes, and my feet never hurt by the end of the day.

Just don't forget that the top of your feet can burn and get funky tan lines ;)

I also LOVE my flip flops - and wore them to the park on a day trip...

Although they were comfy - there's NO shock absorbtion. You'll get achy from it, seriously...

You can alternate with them, maybe - or get yourself some THICK flip flops. My "Herman Munster" flip flops were seriously the most awesomest shoes to wear around WDW. Thats some serious shock absorbtion. :teeth:

I can't.
I live in flip flops in the summer, but only when I'm not going to be doing a lot of walking. I messed up my foot a couple years ago, and it's never been quite the same since. Granted I've only been to WDW in the winter and spring, but so far it's been running shoes and socks for me. They just have more support, which is what my foot needs (not to mention the blisters I get from flip flops). I do wear flip flops if we're just resort hopping or going to DTD, but for serious walking, it's all about the sneakers. I have to wear sneakers here on campus too, if I'm walking very far. It's sort of depressing seeing all the girls in cute flip flops and I'm in running shoes

I LOVE flip-flops - it's all I wear all summer, and it's all I ever wear in the parks. I have 2 different pair of Merrell flip flops, and the new Crocs flip flops, and have worn all of them for several hours and never had trouble with my feet hurting. I say go for it - you can't go wrong in a pair of flip flops!
