What do you think about the week after Easter, April 27 to May 3rd?

Is it still as busy as Easter or Spring Break?

Last year we arrived the Saturday after Easter and stayed for a week. By Tuesday there was virtually no crowds left. We had very little waits. I think once you're a full week out from Easter the crowds begin to disappear. We want to return at the end of next month. However, due to some work issues that may not happen. If not, we will be going the week after Easter again. Rather than battling the crowds of the immediate weeks leading up to Easter.

I am also booked for that week, arriving the Friday (April 25th) at the end of Easter week. From what I have gathered there will be pretty big crowds that Friday to Sunday (more's the fun, going early, ducking crowds and feeling accomplished) but then it appears that there are very little afterwards. That Monday I am planning a really fun day at the parks.
My girlfriend has never been and so it will be hard to keep her from wanting to stand in huge lines when we arrive, and I'm sure that we will, but I also think she'll really enjoy the difference between when we arrive and when those week days start. I have never seen Disney when it's less crowded..... Of course my parents were never the best at planning a vacation (when we went in 1986) so we tried a lot of very popular rides in the middle of the day. I am a wizard at planning Disney world now so I am pretty sure that we won't spend a lot of time waiting for rides.....

At any rate from what I can gather the crowds will be dying that weekend (25-27th) and then will be pretty mellow afterwards.

We will be there too!! Last year we went 4-21 and crowds were not bad except for MK on weekend. It will be a blast the crowd does not get to me anymore I just park hop if it happens and plan for the next trip LOL.

i'm arriving on apr27/03 too. one advantage to arriving that weekend is there is a spectromagic parade on the sunday27th. often the beginning of may, with grad nights and fewer crowds, they do not show this parade . our 1st trip in 2000 we were there for 10 nights and it was not shown once during this time. although we got to see it last year i am looking forward to seeing it again.
