What do you take this to mean?

Just something I saw for embroidery today and the more I thought about it the more I wonders how someone else would take it.

For me, it means live such a good Christian life that it really ticks Satan off. Nothing bothers him more than living a Christian life. It annoys the crap out of him.

I LOVE that saying! If I really think about it, to me it means Satan shudders because he knows I'm out to do good and thwart him at every turn. I'm gonna do my best to further God's love and message and make Satan's life pretty difficult and miserable.

So I guess if you are not a Christian, you may have no feelings about the saying, or negative feelings if you think Satan is "good" and don't want him being bugged/bothered and busted on.

That's just my take on it and I'm sure you'll hear plenty of others!

that's how i read it as a matter of fact, it reminds me of my aunt. she was such a larger-than-life, intimidating (yes, she inspired fear in many, including myself) woman, i can imagine satan himself seeing her wake up in the morning and exclaming "oh cr*p, she's awake!!". she really was a force to be reckoned with, and if you reckoned with her, you lost, lol.

It is actually on a dish towel, just the words with no extras.
I am stitching that saying, "I love you more then popcicles on a hot day' and "Jesus and germs are everywhere, so wash your hands and say your prayers'.

I kinda took it that way as well. But then I'm kinda a ****buster. At work they call me The Enforcer cause the guys come looking for me whenever they need someone to crack down on people acting the fool in the library. Don't know if they think I'm the baddest thing in the building or if it has more to do with the nature of the men and women who are librarians in my branch.
