We are getting down to the last couple of weeks before we head to the world and I'm starting my packing list. Just wondering what everyone takes into the park that are must haves and wouldn't go without. We have 3 boys ages 8, 5, and 14 months. So want to make sure I have everything we will need for a day of fun in the parks. TIA for your suggestions.

LESS THAN THREE WEEKS UNTIL WE SEE MICKEY!!!!

I don't have a list so this is just off the top of my head:

tickets
room key
money
autograph book & pen
quarters & pennies for pressed penny machines
water bottles
rain ponchos
camera
small snacks for DD (fruit snacks, pretzels, raisins etc)
change of clothes for DD
towel & bathing suit if going to Epcot (sidewalk fountains are lots of fun - you might consider just having your boys wear their bathing suits and t-shirts that day)
sunscreen
hand wipes
bubbles (great for entertaining in lines or waiting for parades)
mini first aid kit
sunglasses &/or hats

With the exception for our tickets, keys, $ and camera I put everything in ziploc bags and left most of it in the stroller when on rides or in shows.

One thing I found that works nice with the ponchos that I do... I have a jumbo zip lock and I flatten out the ponchos & the stroller cover, place them in the zip and then squeeze as much air out of the bag as I can (I sit on it, LOL!!).

Then the bag lays flat on the bottom of the stroller basket (taking up little room) so you can fold up the stroller with them in there. Plus if it rains and then stops you have somewhere to put the wet ponchos:p

Oh and to add to the above lists I always carry hand sanitizer gel, I'm a fanatic about that:tongue: I carry it in my purse/fanny pack ALL of the time! I like the little Purell ones because they're small and you can refill them.

I can't stand carrying a bunch of stuff around! Even with kids. I have a 6yo and a 14mo and have been 7 times(6 with DD) I try to pack light. I've learned that most of the stuff I bought into the parks with me I never used! Just more stuff to carry!

I always have wipes with me. You can use them for wipping hands to wipping up stains. A must for us.

Money
tickets
room keys(we usually get charging privaleges on our cards)
ID's
sunscreen
sunglasses
hats for kiddies
autograph book and pen
camera
I put these items in a small backpack. Also in the zippered part I put a couple of bandaids, pepto chewables, tylenol and gum

We have our own stroller so I usually throw a jacket in the basket for the kids.(we go in Nov)

For your baby I would add:
diapers
snacks
sippy cup
disposable bibs
disposable place mats
pacifier(if needed)
favorite toy

The baby care centers have everything you could possibly need for your baby. Most of it you have to pay for. They do have free water!LOL(in a water cooler) They sold all sorts of things including gummie snacks for older siblings(75 cents)

Question for those who bring ponchos, bathing suits, change of clothes: Where do you put it all!!!??? Isn't it a pain to lug around? Do you take it all on rides/attractions?

WOW ~

Do you all have pack mules! I cant imagine bringing all that stuff in. LOL I guess I did when the kids were younger. :earseek:

Now, less is more. The kids (8,10,12) each wear a fannypack/water bottle on strap and the rule is: If YOU bring it YOU carry it.

I wear a waterproof passporter thingie (cant remember what its called) around my neck. It holds passes, money, bandaids, hand sanitizer, and a ziplock with baby wipes, sometimes a pen.

that's it. phew.

curly

other than the obvious (tickets, etc) we take a camera, pullups and wipes for youngest, rain ponchos, stroller rain cover, snacks, autograph books/pens and water bottles oh and sunscreen. We throw the rain gear and pull ups in a big packpack that we keep in the stroller. Me and the kids use fanny packs for sunglasses, cameras and small snacks. When we go on an attraction, we just grab the backpack and go....We don't bother with towels and changes of clothes, etc.. if they kids splash in the fountains, we just let them "air dry" to keep them cool and it is usually so hot they are dry pretty quick anyways. And if I took a change of clothes for my 2 youngest for every time they got dirty I would #1 be changing their clothes every 5 minutes and #2 have to charter a plane for all the extra clothes I would need to bring along. My kids are dirt magnets!! I get them out of the tub and they're dirty!! I couldn't imagine taking half the stuff I packed for the trip into the parks..!!

6 days and counting!!!
