So a few of my friends and I were talkign about this the othe rday and I was curious about what other people pay.

Back in Virginia, I paid $75 including tip. Here in California I pay $55 including tip.

I go to a local beauty school and pay $13 for a shampoo, cut and style. They also do a mini facial, hand and arm massage, and makeup retouch as well.

I go to a nice salon and pay $32 plus tip. I don't have her style it as I go home and shower all those little itchy hairs off right away. I have short hair and can't stand the hair on my neck, down my shirt, in my bra.....:scared:

I don't get mine colored or permed but I think my friend spends about $100 when she gets her colored and cut.

I work in a salon and we charge $22 for a wash and cut.

I live in a town thats at least 30 miles fron a major city where the price is 3 to 4 times our price. Competition is fierce is our area. A town of 35000 people with at least 20 salons, hard to make living you have to keep your prices a little lower then you would like.

In New Hampshire I paid $35 (including the tip) for a wash, cut and style.

Now I pay 50 Euros (about 75 dollars) for a wash, cut, color and style. I have very long and thick hair so I think that is great for the color to be included. I used to have my DH color it for me, but he travels so much now I'd rather get it done at that price.

For just a cut I THINK it is around $40 maybe?? I always get my roots done and foils and all together it is $75 + tip.

$12 plus tip.

But I drive almost to the boonies to get to my stylist's home salon. She actually makes a nice living and owns a lovely home on big acreage, even with charging so low. :goodvibes

$13 (cast discounted price) + $3 tip at Harmony Barber Shop in MK.

$39, includng a $7 tip. I get a haircut only, as I prefer to style it myself.

$55 and my salon doesn't accept tips! :cool1:

I used to pay $55 but over the past year have changed to a chain salon and now pay $15.

I have paid well over $200,000 now, but that is for unlimited haircuts. I am still being charged on an infrequent basis though.....

My wife cuts my hair. I've bought her a house, several cars, appliances, now a Disney trip, and other various expenses as payment....

The day my wife comes home with a ridiculous $75 bill for a haircut would be the day I shave her head. That's outragous.

$60 with the tip. She washes it again after she cuts it, no itchy hairs for me :-)
