What do you sleep in?

Nada.

If DS is in bed with us (used to happen a lot when he anxiety was at its highest, but not hardly ever, anymore), I'll wear a stretchy tank top and panties. I detest wearing clothing in bed that gets all twisted up on me.

In the summer sleeveless Vanity Fair nightgown - they feel cooler than the sheets, in the winter I wear an old lady flannel nighties ;)

99% of the time its nothing. Our kids know to knock finally. When DD was around 6, she popped into our room. She asked "are y'all naked?" On impulse I popped of an said "Nope, we are wearing sheets". She said ok and went about her business.

This still all means nothing without pictures! :rotfl::scared1:

Shorts, jeans, capri, shirt, tank top, turtle neck, sweatshirt, sweater, socks, hoodies, workout pants, cami, skirts, dress, and underwear. It doesn't matter to me.

I always sleep in something because of the kids sometimes getting up in the middle of the night. Plus, if there was ever a fire or intruder (I know, the odds are slim) I want to be able to hop out of the bed.

I used to sleep in large T-shirts, but I now sleep in short nightgowns. I found some soft, pretty ones at target. The length is right above the knees and they have lace and spaghetti straps, so I don't get hot in them. They are comfortable and look pretty. Hopefully my husband appreciates them too.

I sleep in pj pants and either a tank or long sleeve top depending on the weather. I've never had an issue with clothes getting twisted or getting too hot :confused3.

It's actually a complaint a lot of people have. Myself included. If its not tight like a cami and panties I can't deal. When I roll over it gets bunched up, pants bunch at the knees...

normally i just wear a cami, it's like a tank top type of short dress because i, like you OP, can't be warm.

right now tho i'm still breastfeeding my DS so i'm wearing shorts and a tank top since i have to wear the nursing bra at night. can't wait to get back into my old pjs tho!

I seem to be the opposite of most people on here I can't sleep in tight fitting clothes like a cami, I sleep in cotton shorts and a cotton t shirt, in the winter time pajama pants

A sleeping bag full of kittens.

:rotfl2: hilarious !

I wish I could be like all you naked j birds! I tried it once and dreamt all night about house fires, surprise guests, shocked parents...it must be all that Catholic guilt! Lol

I'm actually pretty cold natured so I tend to lean toward layers.

I don't know your age, but I found that it was more age related then anything else. Let's face it, the threat of fire, unwanted guest or emergency situations exist no matter when you make the decision to bare it all. At some point the brain takes over from the hormones and makes us decide that perhaps that isn't a good idea, well, at least for long extended periods. That, of course, varies with each person. Some are born with enough sense to wear at least something to bed, but, I do understand the old belief that the definition of "nightgown" was something that you found on the foot of the bed of most newlyweds (or any other form of new cohabitation).:cool1::rotfl:

I'm more worried about a kid walking in on me during the night. They'd be scarred for life!

I am in my mid forties and have been married for 17 years. I have always been in good shape but have never been able to get past the "what if" even when I was young. I guess I will always keep Belk department store pajama dept. in business ;)
