What do you see from the windows @AP?

I had a lovely CM making reservations with me on the phone the other day, so sweet and helpful. Anyway, she said I should ask for a window seat at Artist Point when I check in. Silly me, I should have asked her why, what would I see out the window? So instead, I'm asking here. What will I see out the window?

You see the grounds of WL and Bay Lake.

We dine at AP for the first time in June and had a wonderful table right by the window. It was a lovely view out over the grounds of WL and Bay Lake. Our reservation was at 7, so the sun was sinking .. quite beauiful!

I kind of figured it was a view of the lake or something. Now I have to check on the Electrical Water Pageant times for that day...maybe they're due around my dinner time (although I doubt it...seems early to me...5:40?). The CM seemed to think it was something really special...maybe she just likes water views a lot?

Unless you are dining early, and depending on the time of the year, of course, there is not much to see out the windows...you will see the landscaped grounds of the hotel, but eventually it will be too dark to see out. Personally, I think this is a lovely restaurant in and of itself, that you should not be disappointed if you are not seated next to the window...enjoy.

You don't see much when it's dark outside. We ate there last Dec when it's completely dark by 6:00. The Electrical Water Pageant starts at the Polynesian around 9:00 and then visits the other MK resorts one by one, hitting WL around 9:35. No idea if you can see it from AP; in any case I'd suggest being out by the water if you want to see it.
