I chop onions and celery in my food processor, then cook it in olive oil. I puree the turkey's raw liver and add it to the pan, stirring a lot so the liver is spread throughout. I pour the mixture over half a loaf of white bread, broken into pieces. I stuff the bottom and the neck after it cools and shortly before I put the turkey in.
My mother used to put eggs, pepperoni and lots of grated cheese in hers. I didn't care for it growing up, but I'm thinking about trying it one year for old times' sake.

I live in the South and we call it "dressing"."Stuffing" to me is Stovetop.
